  • An incredible motorcycle museum! I found out about the place after seeing it on various tv shows, American Pickers, Chasing Classic Cars, and Jay Leno's Garage, included. Once you get inside, you really don't know how you are going to take it all in. It is huge! All of the motorcycles run and during our visit, the curator was starting and taking random bikes out for a spin. A must see!

We had an absolutely fantastic relaxing few days, just what we need to recharge. The rooms and cozy and homey, the staff makes you feel like your family coming to visit. Ease of access to all of the areas attractions. It is not the most modern or flashy, just good peace and quite. Worth the chance by all means.

This property was NOTHING like it was pictured. It was a delapidated camper that had been made to look like a cabin with wood exterior. It smelled of pet urine and moth balls and was less than 3 feet from the next cabin. No grass or yard.

Cozy cabin with an awesome spa tub! We loved being so close to the creek! Management was super helpful with anything we needed and there are plenty of amazing food options nearby. Will stay again!

I like the area, lots of history around there. The fact that they had an opening was helpful but understanable. From the pictures ut looked like so much to do but not really. You have to drive to do anything. The one diner that we went to was awful and why over priced. Not sure why things cost so much there. Alot of area around the area looks like a 3rd world country. That was sad.

Smoky view cabins

Very friendly staff. Very cozy cabins. Peaceful and relaxing. Fire pit, lawn chairs and a running creek in back. Nice covered porches. Plus charcoal grills.

Not what was pictured. Smelled moldy. Property interior was old dirty and broken.i got sick from mold. Fans made a terrible noise. Was supposed to be on river. Was not. Carpet in living room was so discussingly dirty we wore our socks after shower in order to not have dirty feet. Check in on phone...then no answer to let them know not acceptable. Outside muddy and chairs on porch not cleaned ever. Will never stay here again.

The cabin where we stayed was Creekside so every morning I would have my coffee listening to the creek which was absolutely gorgeous the weather was beautiful the only thing that I did not like is the cabins were a little outdated the cabin that I had at first maybe because it was closed up for a couple days had a mothballs smell and it was definitely not an updated cabin however it was a great stay

The creek was cool and the check in was easy! The pictures did not match the condition of the actual cabin. They supposedly upgraded our cabin from a two bedroom to a three bedroom with no additional charge. When we arrived it was in very poor condition considering how much we paid (Expedia did not show the cleaning fee added to our total) The place looked more like a mobile home split into pieces. The a/c was not turned on when we arrived which they said they were going to do. It smelled weird like mold and the ceiling had mold which was covered up by paint. We will not be staying here again and found it difficult to even stay for two nights.

The first night we attempted to go to bed, and tiny black bugs were crawling on both pillowcases. we went to a 2nd bedroom and the same tiny black bugs were crawling on those pillow cases too. So we packed up before staying one night and checked in a hotel at midnight 30 miles away. We called the office the next day and the owner was apologetic. We asked for a full refund and she said she would. I have emailed the office twice asking for a status of our refund with no response. We are still trying to get our refund 1 week later.

Nice cabin and clean but a few unacceptable items.

A couple of major issues... 1) the extra added fees were 50% of the overall cost. I expect taxes, cleaning fees etc. but this is much more than the norm, and the additional fees weren't know about until the day before. Unacceptable...as a minimum they should have been listed prior to booking at least as an estimate. 2) absolutely worthless/no wifi in the cabin and there for no TV. The info about the cabins said that it is spotty in some areas of the property but I assumed that it didn't mean in the actual cabin...this was also unacceptable. There were 2 TVs in the cabin and they were useless, except that I was able to use my own personal WiFi hotspot from my phone. For the price it is unacceptable to not have Wifi in the room/cabin.

Old fashioned cottage with backyard with stream. Has pots & pans, silverware & plates, all which you must wash before leaving and empty your own trash in dumpster at front of property. Has microwave and stove, coffee maker, A/C, old fashioned heater from 60’s, 2 Queen beds, full sized refrigerator and bathroom. Back porch is covered and looks out to backyard and stream. Trees cover cottage and backyard keeping it cool. They say “Pet Friendly” but devil in the details. Pets are not allowed on furniture and must be crated when you are away. You pay a pet fee and still get charged extra if they find out your animal is not caged. This is the only downside for me and should be listed in description of property, just if you don’t have a cage with you. When you look at price you see $169, but after taxes it is $204, then with cleaning and pet fees it’s $269/ night. Understand this before booking. If you are without pets, I say it’s fine, but beware if you do.
