Rustic Cabin overlooking Pickwick Lake

This little rustic cabin is nestled up on a hill with beautiful views of Pickwick Lake. It has 1 bedroom with a queen size bed & a twin size bed. The family room has a trundle bed(sleeps 2) and a sofa with 2 recliners in it. There is a TV with satellite for your enjoyment while inside. Also it has a full kitchen with a full size refrigerator/freezer, full size stove/oven, coffee maker, dishes & outside charcoal grill available for your use. The large porch is perfect for watching the beautiful sunsets here! If you plan on boating there's a public boat ramp at Colbert County Rose Trail Park located less than 1 mile away. Also, boats can be rented at Eastport Marina located directly across the water. This is the perfect getaway for single family, fishermen or hunters. This cabin is located on the same property as The Riverton event center & can be rented in conjunction if additional space is needed. The drive up to the cabin is somewhat steep and gravel, however, we have never had any problems with cars getting to it.

Cherokee Cabin
Nice cozy little cabin, be nice if the bedroom had a door to separate the snorers from the non snorers.Couch very comfortable for sitting but not for an adult to sleep on,too narrow to sleep on your back.Really better suited for three adults or a couple sleeping in the queen bed and kids on the full bed,the couch, and the day bed in the living room.Having a queen air mattress would be nice, then 4 adults could sleep comfortably.Front porch roof leaks like a seive, wanted to sit on the porch while it was raining and enjoy the lake view but needed to wear a rain coat to do it.Overall I felt it was worth what it cost cost and would stay there again.Host was responsive, gave good directions and checkin was easy.

Very Nice
Great little cabin on the hill. Peaceful, nice view of lake, great ownership. The only issue was there is no grassy area for dog to walk, play and potty as everything is rock. But will be back, we loved it.

Rustic Cabin
Great place Nice lighting at night VRBO directions are nonexistent and rely on Google which could have taken into some one else’s property or into the river. We were taken out of our way two times before we called the property manager who responded immediately and easily found after she told us it was 10 miles from the highway. Beware it is a very, very steep driveway but outstanding view of river once you are there It IS rustic and almost primitive 😉

Memorial Day weekend
We stayed in this property in Pickwick Lake area. We loved it. The communication was above & beyond helpful (even in advice & suggestions for around the area) My only wish is that we had booked longer. Next time we plan to fully explore & enjoy more time.
