Very secluded and fantastic views. Spent a fun day in Asheville, but downtown Waynesville was a really nice surprise, and only about 10 minutes away. We spent two days at the cabin without leaving and took a nice walk on the roads and spent much of our time on the porch. We were surprised to see deer that far up the mountain, beautiful sight! The location of the cabin is perfect for visits to Waynesville, Maggie Valley, Sylva, Cherokee, Great Smoky Mountains National Park and Asheville. Very nice being at the top of the mountain for the views but also the peace & quiet - it felt like we had the mountain to ourselves. There were only three of us, but the grounds are perfect for a large group (tons of space outside to spread out, throw the football, use the fire pit, etc). Views are amazing, hot tub works well. Kitchen is well stocked. Drive up the mountain was fine, no worries. Main living area in the cabin is larger than the pictures. Enjoyed the shuffleboard.
