The room was cold and heat could not be turned on. Discovered an open window which could only be closed by a maintenance person with a ladder. Small black flying bugs in the room presumably came in through the open window. They did bring a space heater promptly. The hotel is located about 15-20 minutes from downtown and the airport. There are restaurants and cafe in the nearby pebble walk which is picturesque and spotless. The hotel staff were professional and friendly. The morning break fast was fresh and the variety was good (try the morning ginger tea). The city of Chengdu was gorgeous and when I returned to the hotel in the late evening, I felt absolutely at home. I would highly recommend this hotel for any business traveler who needs peace and quiet after a hard days work.
