"We had an absolutely wonderful six-night stay at The Ritz-Carlton Chengdu and couldn’t recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. The staff genuinely couldn’t do enough for us and were incredibly warm, attentive and accommodating throughout our entire stay. Travelling with our children, we particularly appreciated how welcoming everyone was towards both the kids and adults. We also had Club Lounge access, which I would highly recommend. The food, service and overall experience made it well worth it and added something special to our stay. Both the kids and adults had an amazing time, and the hotel was a fantastic base for exploring Chengdu. It’s rare to find a hotel where the service feels so personal and genuine. A huge thank you to the entire team for making our stay so memorable. We absolutely loved our time here and hope to return to Chengdu and The Ritz-Carlton again in the future!"

"We were given a room with smokey smell when we brought that up to the staff they were happy in findng a more suitable unit. Buffet breakfast was good with many selections, only if guests know to close the lid after getting their food would be helpful in keeping the food warn."

"Generally ok, but the hotel itself was old though well maintained. The room I stayed in, the plumbing for the shower area was not too good as water flowed v slowly. The hairdryer was also fixed to the drawer so I had to be in the toilet to use it. Otherwise all good. They also allowed me to switch from twin room (I booked wrongly) to a room with queen bed. As it was my birthday, the hotel also prepared a cake and decor for me.. thanks!"
