They then told me the "back stage" staff who is in charge of online bookings is on a holiday due to the 1st May Golden Week in China. They took multiple shots of my booking details off my phone, and made us wait for around 25 minutes for the rooms. They spoke and read a minimum level of English and offered no apologies on the hotel’s behalf.
