Great chelan view
Amazing place to stay with a great view of the lake. Only downside was not being able to get up the driveway in the snow.

While the main roads are plowed during a storm, the private homes are not. Our housekeeping staff does their best to try to clear a path to the home when time allows. Unmatched view and beautiful home but...
The house is absolutely beautiful. The view is unmatched. The listing is extremely deceptive. The driveway is over 200 yards of a steep incline. Difficult to walk because of the rolling gravel. Outside and inside the house are a lot of stairs. The elevator in the house is off limits. It's impossible to get a boat up the driveway. The listing talks of a private boat dock. To walk to the boat dock, it's precarious to say the least. 200-300 yard of steep switchback large rocks to walk down to. The walk back up takes an Olympic athlete. You cannot take a boat down to the boat dock. Completely impossible. Have to launch the boat at the state park a mile away and pay for parking. The boat cannot be tied up to the boat dock because the dock is extremely high. This property would be impossible for any elderly person and or handicapped. None of this is mentioned. It's a good thing we spent most of our time on the deck because the living room furniture was unfit to sit on. The local VACASA rep is literally no help at all and unable to reach. Will never stay in a house that's managed by VACASA.

Beautiful house, amazing views. The area is not very walkable but it wasn't an issue for us as it was a very short drive to a state park and 15 min drive to the town.

Beautiful Place w/ High-end Feel
The place had everything you may need and then some. High-end appliances. Indoor and outdoor fireplace. Big showers. Stocked kitchen. Definitely worth using in the future!

Love the view but could improve
The property allowed us to really enjoy the view of the lake, the house is nice just as others have mentioned previously but access to the lake isn't not safe. We were expecting that lake access means its accessible to everything safely but the way down to the lake which is on the other side of the street is quite a trip. That changed our plan a bit. Our family enjoyed the stay but cleanliness could use some improvement such as the bathrooms with clumps of hair, bed (sheets/pillows with hair and stains), dusty tables and spiderweb around the house.

Stunning house with outrageous views
An incredible experience - this home is a gorgeous custom build with stunning views from just about every window. It’s very quiet and we got to meet a family of deer. My only feedback would be the property management (Vacasa) could really step it up. I messaged about a late checkout the day before we left and never heard back. No instructions on how to use things like the fire pit. It’s broken and turning on the valve just releases gas so hope that gets checked out. Maintenance and communications issues aside, flawless stay.

Wonderful experience
We stayed here with our family, the house had ample accommodation for 4 adults and 2 kids. The property is tucked in to a steep driveway which we had some trouble locating at night but other than that it was close to some of the stellar wineries in Lake Chelan. The house and the deck had excellent views in the evening and we had an equally great time enjoying it. Would definitely visit again.

Dirty
I arrived at this beautiful property and was disgusted with the condition the house was in. There were bread crumbs on the counter tops, there were was an orange residue in the pockets of the refrigerator. The kitchen sink had food particles in it and was filthy. I found a large clump of hair in the drain of the shower and the shower walls were filthy. I called the property management and they sent somebody out that did do some cleaning but I still found areas that were not done well. I used a face towel the next day and found a brown spot in the center of it After I had used it to dry my face. I sent a couple of emails to the management company asking for laundry detergent so I could wash the remainder of the linen and towels to make sure that they were clean and did not receive that . They did say they would refund me my cleaning deposit which was something but it put a damper on the visit wondering what was still dirty that I wasn't noticing. In this time of covid I expected to arrive to an immaculate home. If I were the owners of this property I would change management companies. Also, the shade in the second bedroom upstairs, did not work and my daughter was unable to enjoy the breath taking view from that room. The property itself was beautiful. The setting calming and relaxing. Its to bad the dock access is so steep. Nice place to enjoy the lake.

Beautiful home, just wish it was clean and maintained.
Like I said, the house is beautiful and the location is great! But it is definitely neglected and needs some love. I also wish that the property management company was responsive. It took many days to hear back for any questions we had, and they have ignored our comments regarding cleaning and repair. Dirty used sponge with no replacement Dirty sticky pans and pots Blinds didn’t open in main room or bedroom upstairs so view was blocked. Dirty sheets - hair on them still Dirty carpet and couch (and under everything) Ice maker didn’t work well Bathrooms didn’t look wiped down, lots of stains from previous visitor Filthy under beds Empty soap containers that hadn't been refilled Bathtub didn’t drain So just go into it knowing you will have to do your own cleaning and that things may be broken and not working. Tremendous potential to be a great rental if these things are fixed!

Lake access is DIFFICULT
House was nice, had everything we needed. A/C either stopped working or wasn't able to keep up by the third day we were there. Getting down to the lake is an extremely steep, long walk. Most parts have rocks for stairs, other parts have loose gravel you can slip on. No railings. I wouldn't recommend this home for any parties with young kids, or unhealthy or elderly adults. The walk back up to the house required our (fit) family to stop a couple times to catch our breath. We brought some lake toys that we deemed too dangerous to try to bring down/up to the lake, so that was disappointing.

We absolutely loved our stay and loved hanging out on the front porch with lake views. Access to the dock was nine to have to get some swimming in on the hot summer day.

Beautiful Chelan getaway
The house is in a great location and easy to find. It’s the perfect set up for a family stay and the views are hard to beat. The front door is tricky to lock from the outside so be patient. The master bedroom has one window with no window covering which made it really bright, really early; adding a window covering would be fantastic! We would stay here again!

Very nice home. Million dollar view. Not on the water but very nice view .
Very nice home . Kitchen had every thing you would need to cook. GPS wanted me to drive down a washed out road to lake. House sits across from lake . Nice quite location . Would rent again fore sure.

Great Place!
We had a great time and overall the property and house was amazing. The trail to the dock was a lite dangerous and appears there was some type of recent landslide. The trail was definitely not appropriate for small children. A couple issues with the appliances and bathrooms we reported to the property manager upon arrival. They sent out a technician, but he was unable to fix the issues.1) Main bath drain was not working 2) Toilet on main floor was not working and refilling. 3) Freezer compartment and ice maker was not working. 4) Blinds in upstairs bedroom was missing a draw string and could not close properly.

We did have a big storm in July that caused some mudslides and washouts. The trail did have to be fixed up a bit and is accurately pictured on the website. The toilet and bath drain have been fixed as well as the blinds. Thank you!
