"The room was clean, and the staff were polite, pleasant, and welcoming. Despite the hotel appearing quite full, it was incredibly quiet around us, and we slept very well. Overall, we had a good impression of the hotel. The main downside was the excessive humidity in the room. The towels felt constantly damp, which made them unpleasant to use, and the bedding also felt noticeably damp. This was quite uncomfortable and is something the hotel should definitely address."

"When we arrived it looked deserted. Went to check in and luckily the girl that managed it 4 years popped out. She explained what transpired since we were there last and how it’s undergoing a new transformation and maybe a name change. She’s very welcoming and remembered us instantly. So it’s a new work in progress. It may not be the 100% now but it will be. They’re starting over from scratch. I love this little hideaway and will probably go back."

"Charming old fashion Adirondack rustic style / decor individual small cabins (also has motel-styled rooms) - parking either in front of rooms or between cabins, a couple of minutes outside Chestertown, NY, 30 minutes from Schroon Lake, and 45 minutes from Ticonderoga (StarTrek Museum & Fort). Very nice, friendly, and accomidating owners / operators. Breakfast / coffee place "Two Sparrows" 5 minutes down the road. Driveway very well lite / marked at night, although wish those lights had either dimmed or turned off post midnight for a better / darker sleep . . . As it was a very wet / rainy, and cold night - heat worked very qickly / well and found extra pillows and blanket. Plenty of hot water in sink / shower, soap, shampoo, small college refrigerator and microwave provided, however no hairdryer for partner . . . Did not test WiFi as we only stayed for 8 hours total time. Would have wished to have had more time to explore grounds and Chestertown itself."

"Host is wonderful, Twosome cabin was quaint and everything you need. Loved the Hot tub, wood fired pizza and great site close to hiking, kayaking, bicycling fishing and shopping."
