Boasting an enviable position along the magnificent Northumberland Heritage Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is this charming bungalow tucked away in the beautiful coastal village of Beadnell.

Situated only a short stroll to the sea, it is an ideal base for exploring many visitor attractions. It has easy access to coastal walks and a wide range of water sports located at the stunning Beadnell Bay. There is a pub/restaurant and hotel in the old part of the village, two licensed cafes and a village shop nearby.

Sleeping two guests, this refurbished property is ideal for a couples getaway. Sit out and enjoy breakfast in the private garden or take a leisurely stroll to the beach. After a busy day exploring, retreat back to this cosy cottage which offers many comforts including two Freeview TVs, one of which is in the bedroom, and a welcome pack, ensuring guests feel right at home. Beadnell is one of the county’s hidden treasures, with beaches and traditional amenities.

Seahouses, 2 miles, has a working harbour where boat trips maybe taken to see the seals and puffins on the Farne Islands. Visit Bamburgh Castle, with its much photographed romantic beach or Alnwick, 12 miles, with its famous castle used in the Harry Potter films and enchanting water gardens. Take a trip across the causeway (at low tide) to Holy Island, a few miles further up the rugged and unspoilt coastline.

Bedroom way too small. With not being allowed to arrive before 17.30 and having to depart before 09.00 we decide to turn up a day late and leave a day early as the times to fit into nigh impossible. Fantastic property in a lovely location.

Fantastic property in a lovely location. Cottage had everything and more you could possibly want. Very clean and lovely decor. The bed was extremely comfortable .The owners have really made sure that holiday maker's have a fabulous time. We had great meals in the local pub and hotel also wonderful beach walks. Can't praise this property enough and will definitely be returning.

First visit to Northumbria & will not be our last. Can’t believe how dog friendly Northumbria is. The cottage was in a perfect location, situated in a quiet village close to the beach, local shop & 2 dog friendly pubs. Welcome pack was a lovely, cottage was spotless, vert warm & everything you needed for a comfortable stay. There is a car park at the back of the property with a designated parking spot. Weather was very good & visited a lot of the beautiful sandy beaches which were all dog friendly & very clean. Would recommend to friends and family

We found the cottage was a bit tight for space ,especially as my husband is partially disabled.

We found the cottage was a bit tight for space ,especially as my husband is partially disabled. Not having a bedside cabinet was a problem too. We were unable to find instructions for the electrical equipment and got by with trial and error. The front door key had a mind of it’s own requiring patience. Otherwise the cottage had everything we needed. Harry (the dog) loved the beach and made lots of new friends.

Lovely cottage with everything you could need for your holiday included and beautifully presented. Hosts make contact by text to ensure you are happy. Beadnell is a great place to stay. Beautiful and huge beach only 10 mins walk away. Would definitely recommend and would stay at Mapleleaf cottage again.
