Chalet Igel is an OVO Network property. The OVO Network team’s opinion – Chalet Igel is a comfortable six-bedroom, four-bathroom chalet for 12 people, set over three floors. It's situated just outside the Portes du Soleil ski resort of Châtel, on the road to La Chapelle d'Abondance, and with the ski bus passing just 100m away, you've great access to a huge choice of skiing. If you stay in the summer, you'll have your own private pool in July and August – just picture yourself cooling off in the water or sipping a drink on the sunbeds, as you admire the breathtaking view of the mountains! There are four bedrooms on the top floor, two with en-suite bath or shower rooms and two others with access to the balcony. There are two more bedrooms – a bunk room and one with two single beds – on the lower ground floor, along with a games/TV room and a bath room. Older children and teenagers will be thrilled to have their own space down here, where they can watch a film or play a game of table football. You may only see them at meal times! Chalet Igel also has a good-sized garden with a trampoline and table-tennis table – there's so much to do here for children! Free wifi, cleaning, towels & linen included. Please note the swimming pool is available from end of June to mid-September. SECURITY DEPOSIT We require a security deposit of €1,000 via a pre-authentication of your credit or debit card, which does not affect your card balance. The pre-authentication will be released as soon as we’ve checked the property and confirmed there is no damage. This is normally done right after your stay, but it could take up to 14 days after your departure. Although the chalet is primarily designed for winter sports, we also found it very pleasant in the summer. The changing mountain weather means you can also have a great time indoors. For children, the available games and the swimming pool are a big plus. The wooden materials give the chalet a certain authenticity, which comes with some challenges regarding noise and insulation.
