We picked the ocean view with balcony and it was delightful. Option for breakfast was good enough to start the day with fresh pastries and crepes and much more as a complete continental breakfast enjoyed with ocean view. Night time hs an open roof top with drinks and DJ available on some nights and great view of the city and sunset or even the high tide.

The best thing about this hotel is the view. The rooms are ok (carpet a bit old, bathrooms could use remodelling) and on the small side. Pool was nice but very small and narrow and not particularly warm, so we didn’t stay in very long. The pool has a great view over the water and the views from the hotel rooms are stunning. The breakfast was quite basic with not many options and cost €35 plus fees. Overall the hotel and breakfast were not good value. The staff member who offered to give us a ride to our next hotel was very helpful. It wasn’t clear where to go to get the ferry and we did ask staff questions about the ferry routes, etc., but perhaps there was a language barrier. There’s a way to walk directly from the ferry terminal to the hotel, which we discovered ourselves on the way back! Staff didn’t offer to book any excursions for us. The price didn’t seem to match the luxury experience we expected. (My friend’s room was over $700 a night, mine was $548). Great views and the wine and cocktails are highly recommended!

Room was clean and had a great view to watch people coming to the Mont. staff was friendly at check in. Breakfast was good, staff not the friendliest. Parking made it easy to get to the island but had a daily fee. Rooms are very small. We did not like the soufflé and meal was extremely over priced. Much better options for meals at other restaurants on the island. Staying on Mont St Michel is awesome, stay two nights and go to services at the Abbey as well as the tour. Walk around the town at night, a great experience!
