"We had a lovely stay at Chateau Leognan! Emilie at reception was particularly helpful and warming throughout our stay. The rooms and common spaces are impeccably designed and decorated. The restaurant on property was the best meal we had in France all week! The complimentary wine tasting was a nice surprise as an amenity and informative about the chateau’s operations - only wish we knew in advance so we could coordinate timing as it’s only open in the evening and we got there barely too late our first night. There’s also complimentary spa access which we didn’t know about ahead of time, so no matter what time of year you’re visiting, remember to pack a bathing suit to enjoy all the spa has to offer! We were traveling with my parents as couples and noted how kid-friendly the chateau was to potentially return with my small children/their grandchildren as it’s not only romantic but also good for families and larger groups if booked in advance with adjacent rooms in the main chateau (that was my fault as we tagged along last minute to my parents’ reservation). Last thing to note, the property is under construction to add more rooms, a new spa and wine bar, hence my less than excellent rating on the grounds. It was a little difficult to walk off-path from one location to the next (chateau-restaurant-reception) but they have buggies to accommodate that. I look forward to seeing how the renovation updates turn out and hope to bring our little ones back to the chateau with us soon!"

"My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed staying at this impeccable winery/ farmhouse. Andrea, the host, was proactive with communication and hands-on when we arrived. The cottage in which we stayed was well appointed and pristine; the grounds and pool very serene; and our wine tasting was informative and delectable. Would love to stay again. Thank you for a great experience."

"This is a gem of a place - a very warm welcome by the fantastic hosts - I chose this place for peace and tranquility plus wanted a safe place for my sports car away from the towns and cities. It has private safe parking and is in an old farm which has been beautifully restored. The surrounding area is full of WW2 history too and the Cherbourg Ferry not far away. The approach is down small lanes which are super quiet and 30KPH speed limits so safe."
