La Maison – Spacious Loire Cottage with Heated Pool near Chinon & Azay le Rideau

"We had a marvellous stay at the property and everything surpassed our expectations. Bruno was very welcoming and helpful, and we were given some delicious local produce, including wine and jam. The house was clean and really well-equipped, beds were comfortable, linen and toiletries, dishwasher tablets and washing powder were all provided. The views from the house were stunning and it was very peaceful. We spent many happy hours in the pool and much hilarity with the table football and ping pong table. We also made use of the bikes to get to the nearby bakery for croissants and fresh bread. Thank you for a superb holiday."

"This is a lovely place to stay and the host was gracious and went out of his way to help in every way possible. I arrived on my bicycle and was able to put it into the secure garden area onto which the entrance of the property opened. There is a nice seating area in the open fronted barn, which is perfect for a quiet drink. The room was terrific. Spacious, immaculate and with everything I needed. Breakfast was served in a charming room downstairs and such care had gone into the selection of local cheeses and produce, plus lots of fresh coffee. It was a treat to stay there and the warmth of welcome and the lovely room would definitely encourage me to stay again."
