"A wonderful and relaxing stay for my mother’s 65th birthday. We had a wine tasting and tour which was lovely and got to use the pool before the cooler weather set in. Breakfast was delicious and the property is just breathtaking. The rooms were very clean, parking on property and the staff were very welcoming! Overall a really enjoyable stay, would definitely come back!"

"Gorgeous building with period features, practical and beautiful décor. Kitchen well stocked with pots, pans, glasses etc. Beds very comfortable. Pool is well maintained, very clean (as was the rest of the house). The outdoor cooking and eating areas were used everyday, with good shade from the sun.There was a heatwave while we stayed meaning it was very hot, the fans were good, could have done with 1 or 2 more to use to help keep cool though. We had issues with mosquitos, so bring repellent and cream for the bites."

"Veronique and Philippe were the perfect hosts for their beautiful home. As we were there during the hottest days ever recorded in French history, we took full advantage of the pool because the house does not have AC. I would imagine that normal "hot" days would not be a problem because the house has thick walls they provide fans. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the equipment you would need (in fact, we cooked dinner all 7 nights). The location has easy access to the best wine town in Bordeaux is just more than a half hour from the sea. We would definitely stay at this property again."
