The Omni is right on the pedestrian mall, convenient to restaurants and shopping. There are many good restaurant options nearby. The hotel has valet parking, but we used the self parking which was convenient and free. We liked the Friday Happy Hour...free champagne. The security of key card access was a plus. The front desk staff was marginal. When asked about things to do in the area they were clueless and arrogant. When asked if there was a consergier service he replied "I'm it" and then proceeded to tell me that he had no knowledge of winery tours, tourist attraction, etc. He was able to relate that a trolley was available to UVA locations even after I told him we weren't interested in seeing the campus. I'd stay again but don't count on advice from staff. Housekeeping staff deserve kudos! Btw when we first arrived the bathroom door to our room would not close properly. I called and asked for a repair. The problem was repaired within 15 minutes by very professional service staff.

Amazing spa! Very relaxing! Every detail thought of in the room - decorations & color choices were beautiful! Shops were quaint & well priced, bed & pillows were super comfortable! Within excellent distance of attractions! Wish we could've stayed longer! Hotel staff was superb!!!!

Stayed only one night and it was very enjoyable. Clean rooms and good breakfast.

Front desk manager Ila Crawford solved a reservation misunderstanding, overcame unexpected obstacles, and exceeded expectations with a creative solution which saved the vacation! (Even extended an additional night)

Waited 20 minutes before tables could be bussed so we could get a table. Then waited 45 minutes or so to get our meal after it was ordered. We had to ask for a menu. Waitress tried her best for us.

Terrific experience. Everything, from the staff to the quality of the room to the location was outstanding for my first stay in Charlottesville.
