Once a hidden gem… now a found one
We couldn’t have pictured a more perfect stay! This property is perfect for a couple looking to get away in the quaintness and beauty of Virginia. The property overlooked a gorgeous farm and mountain view and was the perfect amount of space for us. A cute little kitchen downstairs. We only used it to refrigerate food, but there were appliances and amenities for cooking if you wanted to. Upstairs was a studio room with an adorable farm house feel. The view from the upstairs balcony was beautiful. Trish was easily accessible from our inquiries prior to booking to the second we left. They were very thoughtful when stocking the property- including water bottles in the refrigerator, fresh ground coffee that was locally sourced, a chalkboard in the kitchen, with suggestions and recommendations for things to do and places to go, little things for the bathroom that you might forget to bring and even little games to play. Many of the wineries and breweries were within a 20 minute drive. It was really a wonderful weekend trip!

This studio apartment was just right for our visit to Charlottesville. It was close to Monticello, many local wineries and downtown. It is not conducive to inhouse cooking of main meals but there is a stove and refrig. Trish was an awesome hostess and was very quick responding to my queries.

Amazing location for respite and exploring!
This was an incredible experience as I stayed for 2 weeks while my daughter was at a local camp. The property is absolutely gorgeous and private country feel. Trish had wonderful recommendations for things to do and places to eat. The "apartment" was very clean and well stocked for cooking and living for the 2 weeks. Would also be a wonderful weekend getaway. It was close to many historical sites, wineries and surrounding small cities, yet far enough away for more private surroundings. Love this place and I'll be back!!

Spacious, lovely unit for visiting Cville
We highly enjoyed our stay at this unit, which is located in a beautiful, scenic part of Charlottesville about 6-7 miles east of downtown. Trish, the owner, has done a beautiful job of decorating and furnishing the place, which is located in a spacious carriage house on her large, very nice property. We enjoyed the amenities and nice touches throughout the unit, including fresh towels and toiletries, drinks in the fridge, and a small porch to relax. Trish was responsive and welcoming without being intrusive. We highly recommend this place for anyone seeking to visit Charlottesville and it surroundings.

Perfect Getaway
Staying at Trisha’s place was everything my fiancé and I wanted for a weekend getaway. It is in a prime location, away from busy areas in Charlottesville, but very close to both downtown and wineries. Waking up to prime views of the surrounding hills was relaxing, and makes me want to find a similar place as a first home.

Great location and beautiful stay
Had a great time and comfortable stay! The home had a lot of great personal touches and easy communication with the host. Beautiful views in the morning and enjoyed a great fire at night (the hosts helped set up the fire but we picked up a fire starter log at a nearby gas station which helped and recommend to other guests who are not outdoorsy like myself!). Location was great as you’re close to downtown Charlottesville and to a bunch of the wineries ! Would definitely recommend :)

Cozy Barn studio convenient to Clifton Inn and Monticello
Convenient place for single or couple to stay when attending an event at the Clifton Inn, or visiting Monticello. Small but adequate, thoughtfully designed with great view of sunrise from balcony off bedroom. Nice bed, sheets, towels etc. Very clean and comfortable. Only appropriate for people who don’t have a problem with stairs, as kitchenette and only closet/hanging space are on the ground floor, and the bed and bathrooms are up a flight.

Wonderful Place!
This place was absolutely perfect for my husband and I, we could not have been happier!! The property owners were so gracious and so helpful and pleasant! The rental is perfect for 2 people. The bed was very comfortable and has a deck off the bedroom where you can have coffee in the morning while enjoying the amazing view! There is a sitting area and a T.V... The bathroom was fully stocked with big white fluffy towels, Shampoo, conditioner, bodywash, Q Tips etc... all.the comforts of home! I love the kitchen! one wall is a giant Chalkboard with all the information you need during your stay! I really enjoyed the coffee! The pool was the perfect temperature and big enough to do laps, we spent many hours relaxing and soaking up the sun. We were fortunate to stay for two nights at Trish’s adorable barn. The place was immaculate and beautifully decorated. We felt so welcome and enjoyed all of the extras that were prepared for guests. The balcony overlooks the beautiful pool and property. We had a wonderful time during our stay. Trish was extremely helpful and responded quickly to questions. Idyllic accommodations/amenities in Charlottesville!
Truly the pictures do not do this studio and property justice! The studio space with a nicely stocked kitchen downstairs and large bedroom/sitting room plus deck upstairs was absolutely adorable and extremely comfortable. The attention to details made this space just perfect in every way. Full use of the gorgeous pool was a huge plus. Not only was the pool refreshing on some very hot days but the setting at the pool was beautiful also - again with impressive attention to details. We enjoyed a wonderful sunset swim with breathtaking views all around us. A shout out to Trish, our fantastic host! She checked in to make sure we had everything we needed (she really thinks of everything!) and then gave us complete privacy so we could fully enjoy our visit - and we certainly did!!

Words cannot describe the view nor the incredible accommodations! We travel a lot and found this place to be exceptional! It exceeded our expectations in every way! We found it to be extremely private, creatively decorated, very clean, and with nothing forgotten! We enjoyed a swim in the pool, breakfast on the balcony, a hike and run on the Monticello trails, wine tasting on the hill at Eastwood winery, shopping and dinner in downtown Charlottesville, and we would have had an outdoor fire (with everything provided) had the weather been cooler. 😉There is no doubt that we will be back!! ♥️

Great introduction to VRBO
This was our first VRBO stay, and Trish and Mike have set the bar very high for all the visits to follow! They couldn’t have been nicer or more accommodating, and yet gave us all the privacy we needed to make this a truly relaxing escape from reality. The property was exactly as advertised, it’s far enough away from things to be peaceful and yet close enough to get just about anywhere you want to go. Their recommendations were spot on, and we really felt they went out of their way to ensure we had a great trip. The 4 stars instead of 5 for neighborhood was because while it was generally nice and quiet, there was really no where to walk from the property, and we do like to go for a walk in the evening. Overall, though - highly recommend!

Cozy Retreat in a beautiful setting
My hubby and I LOVE this barn studio! A wonderful retreat which is close to wineries and town. The views are spectacular and on a clear night the view of the stars took our breath away. A little slice of Heaven
This may very well be our favorite place we have rented. Incredible views all around and close to historic downtown Charlottesville. This property had it all and the owners did everything they could to make you feel at home from the decor to coffee for the coffee maker. Many special little touches including Alexa! The bed was super comfy and a perfect view of the sunrise without even getting out of bed. This is the perfect little love nest getaway for vacationing couples.

Beautiful country stay - amazing hosts!
I cannot say enough good things about this property - no detail is overlooked, and everything is perfectly curated to a peaceful, comfortable, tranquil stay. The view and grounds are beautiful, and everything was easy and fun. Of note, the bed is honestly one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in, too! Mike even built us a fire both nights of our stay, and Trish made sure to pack us a s'more kit with all of the best fixings! They really went above and beyond and made our experience wonderful. Best Getaway for Two
This place was just right for my wife and me, and our only regret was not booking more nights! It was clean enough to eat off the floors (though we didn't). The owner was super nice, and we had the joy of meeting her before we left. She honors the privacy of her guests, but makes herself available if anything is needed. The location was spectacular - great views, very close to town but you'd never know it, very close to wineries & other activities. We hiked up to Humpback Rocks & drove along the Blue Ridge Parkway during our visit. This was truly the perfect quiet getaway that we needed! HIGHLY recommend staying here.

Charming Perfection
The two-story vacation rental was pristine and clean with comfortable areas to sit and relax inside and to enjoy the majestic views of the grounds and the mountains on the lovely balcony. The large king-size bed was comfortable and well appointed with pillows and bedding. Adirondack chairs and blankets awaited us by the outdoor fire pit that was thoughtfully set for us in the evenings. Communication with the owners was top notch; we felt welcomed and were given privacy to savor each moment of our getaway. We hope to return and we highly recommend this lovely, serene rental and location just five minutes for downtown Charlottesville.

Hubs and I came to C’ville for our 5 year anniversary and this spot was perfect. Trish let us know in advance about her cleaning process in preparation of our stay and the place felt spotless and safe. It was a quiet and tranquil property and just a short drive to Monticello, UVA and vineyards. I would absolutely stay here and again and recommend it to friends!!

We stayed here while visiting our daughter at UVA. The house is clean, private and close to wineries and campus. It's a great alternative to staying in Charlottesville proper. We loved our stay! The location is extremely convenient to Charlottesville, wineries, Monticello and other attractions.
