From rental to check in and through check out, everything went smoothly. Besides the kitchen amenities, the house has spectacular views, especially in the fall when we were there. The farmhouse was exactly as advertised and shown. Jeff was a great host who was readily available and responsive to any question or issue. My sister and I were treating my father for his 85th birthday and the farhouse was the perfect place in the perfect location for it as we felt right at home. Being a short drive away from anywhere we wanted to go while having the quiet privacy of the location was was the icing on the cake. We were visiting our daughter at UVA but wanted to stay outside of Charlottesville and knew we would be visiting Lake Monticello. This home is perfectly located far enough from town to enjoy the country air but within 20 minutes of UVA and downtown. Thomas Jefferson Parkway itself if a beautiful drive and filled with stop offs like Carter Mountain and Monticello hiking trails. The home, just as described, is charming with modern amenities making it very comfortable. Clean, fully stocked, and hosts that make sure all needs are met.
