Like any lake trip it starts at the water. Enjoy floating in a great neighborhood cove just a few doors off the deepest water of the main lake near the 150 bridge but protected for your safety and enjoyment. Take the kayaks or stand-up paddleboard that are included with the house; splash on the 17'x6' floating mat; or rent a boat or jet skis from nearby marinas and dock them right at the house with easy access. Enjoy the view from the dockside gazebo with built-in misting system for your comfort, and TV for entertainment. As you move off the water the lower level greets you with a spacious furnished patio. Gather around the built-in fire pit for smores or throw some burgers on the Blackstone griddle and enjoy a beverage from the bar steps away in a large basement perfect for your group. The basement includes a full set of family room furniture and large smart TV, a pool table, a throwback electronic gaming table, and two tables for gathering over food, drinks and games. The basement is also the location of a bedroom with two sets of bunk beds along with a new full bathroom with rainfall shower. The remaining bedrooms are on the main floor, all with luxury foam mattresses. The sizable master includes a king size bed, deck access and a large picture window overlooking the water. The master bath includes a double sink, makeup vanity, whirlpool tub and dual head shower. The other full bathroom is shared by two queen sized bedrooms – one with front yard view and vaulted ceiling and the other with water view and access to the screened in porch. All bedrooms on the main level include mounted smart TVs. A functional office is located off the family room and doubles as sleeping space for two people with a day bed and roll-out trundle. The remainder of the main level includes plenty of gathering space for your whole crew. A well-appointed gourmet kitchen with high end appliances is open to a breakfast area, family room, and beautiful dining room. You exit to an oversized deck with another gas grill, a large umbrella-covered table and additional bench seating, all with tranquil views of the water. What an amazing time we had for our LKN getaway. The house is clean, well stocked and has room for everyone! The kids enjoyed having their own hangout space in the basement while the adults enjoyed some quiet time on the screened in porch. They also supply some fun family games that brought us all together, a very nice touch. The kitchen has everything you need to cook up a gourmet family meal, including a gas grill and Blackstone. The beds are super comfy and all the linens and towels feel luxurious. Julie was the perfect host even giving us a great recommendation on a boat rental (Saltshaker). I could go on for days about how great this vacation rental was. The House was perfect and Julie was a phenomenal host. Upon entering the home we were greeted with a personal card and a bottle of wine from the Camo family. The location and amenities kept 6 kids busy the entire 6 days. The house is practically Brand new from a renovation. We caught several fish from the dock and the kids loved the giant lily pad that was provided with the rental. Overall we had the best vacation we have ever been on and already have plans to rent this home again. Everything about this home, host, location, and amenities couldn't have been better. The house was exactly what we needed for our extended family! It hit the needs for adults and kids with all the extras that make for a comfortable stay. The house was extremely clean and ready for us the minute we arrived. You can tell the owners put the time and thought into the upgrades to the property. It didn't feel like a rental at all. The property is in a protected cove which made it perfect for taking advantage of the paddle board, kayaks and floating mat during our stay. We spent the majority of our time at the dock and the outside spaces around the house. We rented a boat for the last few days of our trip and the location / setup of the dock made it easy for novice boaters to dock when returning from our adventures in the nearby main channel. We didn't need to contact the owners during our stay but they were responsive with any questions we had throughout the process. My family had an amazing time. Julie & Gary were super responsive to all questions prior to us coming the down. We had a blast partly because we picked such a great rental for our immediate family. Extended family stayed in other homes on the lake and everyone loved our rental the most with fantastic location on the lake, great water depth, wonderful dock, better parking, the extent of luxuries included in our rental, The grill, the Blackstone, the amount of seating, the screened porch, I could go on and on. Owners made it so easy with an outstanding guide to their home and the area. House was clean and we spent so much time fishing and swimming off the dock. A great quiet cove to have so much fun. The house is beautifully furnished. We loved the swing on the screened in porch, the large umbrella over the table on the upstairs deck, the bunk beds and the basement area for the kids, the Aqua lily pad. The lake was so clean. Julie and Gary thank you for the use of your home. It was perfect for our family vacation. Everything was there, from the wonderful waterfront with shaded Gazebo, the floating mat, noodles, kayaks, to all the games inside. The lakefront is in a cove which made swimming very safe without high speed boat traffic. Julie, the owner is highly responsive and an attentive VRBO owner. Julie was the best communicator. If I sent a message I got an immediate response, and I appreciated that. This place feels like a home, not a rental. The house was immaculate. The kitchen is very well stocked, anything we needed or wanted was there. Very comfortable beds, like new furniture and amenities, I can’t say enough good things.
