Old Lake Charm with Million Dollar Views

Freshly updated 2100 square foot cottage with breathtaking main channel views of Lake Norman. There are two covered deck spaces for dining, relaxing, and enjoying all the views that the lake has to offer. If you have a boat, bring your own and park it at the dock. If you need a rental, there are several places we recommend on the lake to rent one for the week. We also have outdoor seating on the dock to relax and unwind. The home comes with 2 kayaks, a canoe, a large floating mat, and several smaller floats for you to enjoy.

Below the deck, this home offers a small goldfish pond with a waterfall feature which adds the serene and relaxing sounds after an exciting day on the lake. We also offer a firepit area to close out the perfect day on Lake Norman.

There are two king bedrooms and one room with a bunk bed of twins and a single twin bed. We also have a queen sleeper sofa in the downstairs den. All of our bedrooms have memory foam mattresses and luxurious high-thread-count sheets for the ultimate good night's rest. Both of the king bedrooms come with attached bathrooms.

The home features two dens, one upstairs and one downstairs. Enjoy some Netflix on our 4 smart TVs, as well as high-speed internet throughout the house to log in to your Disney, Hulu, Prime, etc., and stream your favorite series or movies.

The upstairs family room/dining room has floor-to-ceiling windows to maximize the beauty of the outdoors. The galley kitchen is well stocked for the cook in the family to host a spectacular meal after a fun-filled day making memories on the water. There is outdoor seating upstairs on the deck as well as downstairs under the deck. This house has sunrise views from the deck and boasts the perfect place to have your coffee while enjoying the beauty of a new day beginning.

If you like to fish, bring your fishing rods because we catch lots of catfish and bass all around our dock. We even have rod holders on the dock for your enjoyment. We have card games as well as a host of board games for our guests to use.

In addition to our home's many amenities, we are also only a 5-minute drive to Lake Norman State Park. They have 36 miles of mountain biking and hiking trails, as well as a beach area with lifeguards. They offer pedal boat, paddleboard, kayak, and canoe rental as well.

I will admit Old Lake Charm does have a Million Dollar View! This was our second time staying here and again we will definitely be back. It has such a warm and cozy feeling and the amenities are great. Shana is an amazing host. You will not go wrong booking here.

This house has beautiful views of the lake! We were able to enjoy the view from the inside due to lovely windows that opened out onto a full deck with a seating area and a table for dining outside. There is a dock with a sitting area also. The house was lovely and perfect for us. It would be perfect for many ages as it has a large game room with a pool table, ping pong table as well as a video game. Our hostess was very responsive and kind. We hope to return again someday.

Lake Fishing Vaction was Great

Perfect Family Vacation

This was our first time to Lake Norman and will not be our last. Our family of five had one of our best vacations to date. Peaceful, clean, and safe. We enjoyed having dinner on the beautiful deck with a gorgeous view of the lake, taking the kayaks within the cove, and fishing off of the pier. Great memories were made!

Fantastic Getaway!

My daughter and I stayed there for Thanksgiving. It was too cold for water activities, but we had a blast in the game room playing pool, ping pong, and arcade games. The view of the lake was wonderful. The kitchen was well supplied so we had a great Thanksgiving meal. We will definitely book again in the summer!

Memorial Day Weekend

We come down for the Coca-Cola 600 every year. We had a great weekend. The place was amazing! Lots of fishing, kayaking, sitting around the fire at night. The game room was a lot of fun as well. So many things to choose from. Thanks for another year of so many fantastic memories!!

Very pretty location on Lake Norman. Quiet with spectacular views of the lake. Beautiful sunrises. Home was spacious and very comfortable. Beds were like sleeping on clouds - so comfy!! The property and its location were great. The view of the lake was amazing. There were a lot of things to do in the area too. The downstairs 3/4 bath is very small though if very many people are staying there. The description of amenities said there was a hot tub and that one refrigerator had an ice maker. There was neither.

Amazing views on low traffic cove

We rented the house for a week and tied up our boat. When not on the water, we spent our time on the porch overlooking the water, at the fire pit and inside the game room. We had everything in the kitchen we needed to cook breakfast and a few dinners. It was a major plus that the house came with so many lake towels. Hosts were speedy with replies to questions.

Lake Norman Vacation

My family had a fantastic stay! The home was even more beautiful than pictured. We loved the deck with unbeatable lake views. The game room was AMAZING too. The show stopper was the lake itself: we spent hours on floating dock and in the water. We loved the kayaks, paddle boards, and floating mat! We fished off the dock, catching good sized catfish. We also rented a boat for several days and had a blast exploring beautiful Lake Norman. Wonderful home, wonderful vacation! I highly recommend!!

It is a million dollar view

Needed a place to stay for granddaughters wedding and we hit the jackpot. The view is amazing especially at sunset. Loved the comfortable beds and the basket of soft throws to curl up in to watch the sunsets. The game room was a big hit! The owners made sure all was good and were available if we needed anything. Fabulous lake house!

My husband & I rented the house for our son’s Davidson graduation. We had family from Virginia and Pennsylvania join us for 4 perfect nights. The weather was amazing, the views stunning, and the house was comfortable, well equipped, and beautifully appointed! This was our first time staying on the lake and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We especially loved having access to the kayak’s and floats. We swam and lounged in between graduation festivities - a perfect way to celebrate. Thank you!

lovely lake getaway

Wonderful place. Spacious for our group, beautiful view of the lake, great deck, fun game room. At first we looked in email couldn’t find the checkin info. so we called Shana who said it was texted. The A/C vent in the queen sized bed room downstairs was VERY loud. The descriptive info in the kitchen needs to be uodated because it says, dont.park in the garage, which is impossible because its now a game room.
