The owner was super kind and responsive, and answered every question I had. The property itself is stunning! Such a lovely, small house that was perfect for both myself and my group. Everything was close by, and downtown Charlotte was only about 30 mins away. Plenty of food options nearby, not to mention a fully decked out kitchen for any personal cooking needs. The owners really did a great job at renovating and myself and my group would love to reserve the property out again sometime in the near future. The one picture in the listing made me think it was a door. If I had known it was a window, I would not have rented it. It is a remodel over a much older home. I do think making the renter pay $3000 or sign up for insurance is an overkill. I personally gave it two stars based on my needs - fenced in back yard with no inside access to the outside isn't helpful with dogs. According to a local friend, this is a bad area to stay so I was hesitant to walk my small dogs down the street. The bed in the back is extremely uncomfortable. My son and I let early Saturday morning to head north to Asheville and a hotel. ##### Sherrill B.
