We were not aware of an upfront and refundable charge when we checked in. The desk was polite in answering my question why. I am sad that some people miss use and possibly damage properly while staying in a hotel and cause everyone to feel not trusted.

We discovered there was no hot water in the bathroom shower @ 3:30am as we were getting ready to depart. When desk clerk was informed, she said that our room had been having that issue! Offered to change rooms for us, which was silly as we had to leave. Said she couldn’t authorize any room discount. Ridiculous.

Everyone at the hotel is super nice however housekeeping Lacks of service I requested full service and a vacuum housekeeping did not do anything I came back to the room trash will still pull the only thing they did was replace the towels this needs to be addressed by the hotel to the housekeeping other than that everything else was great

The front desk was great, but we only had house keeping one time during our stay. We kept going to the front desk for towels and bathroom tissues or anything we needed I was blaming the holidays schedule for after the holiday it barely improve

Stayed here 4 weeks of my travel contract for Caromont. 3 weeks alone (30, female), one week with family (including toddler and dog). The staff is lovely, the hotel always felt clean and well-kept. The breakfast was delicious! Beds comfy, shower pressure and temp good (except when you get to the far side of the building, I was in room 21 one week and it took 10 minutes for the water to warm up, I wish I was kidding. That was my only complaint though!) I would definitely recommend this hotel to travelers, including solo women. I never felt unsafe, even in/around the parking lot. PS: The coffee in the room is better than the stuff at breakfast!

The only thing I didn't like was the breakfast because it was the same everyday and some people don't eat pork so it would be nice to have turkey bacon or turkey sausage and grits!! Other than that everything else was great the staff was excellent

The staff at the front desk was nice and the breakfast provided seemed orderly and breakfast area was clean. The hotel and especially our room was very dingy. The walls needed to be wiped down from food and liquid or whatever was on them. The furniture was banged up. There was hair in the bathroom floor and in the tub. If we weren’t literally just sleeping there quickly and leaving I would have taken the financial hit and gone to a different hotel.

The only good thing about this hotel was the friendly staff. Outside of that, everything else was terrible. We went to two different rooms and both were filthy dirty and dated. The walls and doors were peeling and exposed wiring from the air conditioning was all over the floor. Also there were people around the hotel who looked sketchy. We ended up not staying and requesting a refund.
