Beautiful Home On Wide Water!

  • This beautiful home just built in May 2016. It is 4000 sq. Ft. with 5 bedrooms and 4 baths. It also has a sitting room overlooking the lake with a pull out queen sofa. There are 4 porches and a large patio. The rear porches are overlooking the lake with a 3rd floor porch off the bedroom. The custom kitchen is very open to the sunroom and living room. Sit and relax in the hot tub as you enjoy the view of lake. The gentle lot is very large for activities and a stone fire pit for a good evening around the fire. The dock has a 100 ft. pier with a covered sitting area at the end to sit or to have fun fishing. A walkway leads from the pier to a large floating dock to park 3 boats all your own private area. Restaurants and grocery store within 2 miles of the house.

Beautiful home on the lake!

This lakehouse was absolutely gorgeous! The owner John was very communicative prior to checking in and was available for any questions or concerns we had during our stay. The photos are extremely accurate to the look of the property and the amenities were great! We really enjoyed the hottub, the living room with the view of the water, and the swinging porch on the dock. I would definitely recommend staying here again.

Retirement Celebration

We (11 of us) had so much fun and spent most of each day outside. There was something for everyone between the ‘beach’, fishing, swimming, hot tub, ping pong, kayaking, boating, etc. The house was well built, well maintained and well appointed. Wish we had more time there!

Beautiful home

We enjoyed this beautiful home on the lake to meet family that live in all different areas . We fished off the dock and we got many fish (I even caught a big catfish). Location was great. Many restaurants and a grocery store close by. I would definitely stay here again.

Completely enjoyed the entire weekend! The house was beyond amazing and smelled wonderful! The view is absolutely beautiful. We spent most of our time on the dock and we rented the boat which was easy and a wonderful experience. John is a great host. We will definitely be back!

Family vacation

The location was great and the house was absolutely wonderful. We really enjoyed the outdoor space and the beach area. We also rented John’s boat, it was so nice having it already at the dock instead of having to go to the marina and pick one up. Beautiful home on the water

Our family vacation was amazing, thanks in large part to this awesome home on the lake. There was plenty of space for everyone to have a bed to sleep in, the house was absolutely beautifully built, and the proximity to the lake is unbeatable. We rented a boat for a fun day of tubing and we also spent lots of time outside in the huge backyard with all the kids. Really something for everyone!

Nice weekend on the lake

We had a very fun weekend on Lake Norman. John was kind enough to bring the boat over for us to take out on Saturday and it was great. The home seemed to not have been cleaned thoroughly between the previous guests and us but over all its a very nice home for a large group.

Really fun place! The dock is great, Kayaks and ping pong available. Sandy area in the yard for kids. Large grocery store nearby. Gas grill, extra fridge and kitchenette downstairs in addition to huge kitchen upstairs. The owner was very responsive and accommodating with special circumstances. The bedrooms are very comfortable and large. Plenty of space for our group of 9 adults. We loved it!

Christmas with the family.

We had a great reunion as we only get together twice a year. Your house is spacious and beautifully decorated for Christmas. We enjoyed catching up with each other, eating, drinking and watching lots of football. The house was perfect for us. The weather was a bit nippy. Everyone commented it would be great to come back when we could enjoy the lake. It was a wonderful few days. Thank you.

Perfect getaway for a family reunion! Everyone was happy!

This beautiful lake house was the perfect spot for our annual extended family reunion for ages 81 to 12. We only left the house to go to the grocery store that is 3 minutes away. Between the lake swimming, boating, fire pit, gorgeous dock, ping pong table and plenty of gathering spaces -- there was room for everyone to relax at their own pace. We highly recommend renting the pontoon boat from John. He's a fabulous host who is quick to respond. Perfect location on the lake too for kayaking and paddle boarding. Book this place! You can thank me later. :-).

Fantastic host - gorgeous, well -appointed home.

We will be contacting this host about the possibility of another stay! A group of friends come together to celebrate a birthday and attend the Carolina Renn Faire locally. As the planner, I found this home online. My family owns a rental house - so when I say that this home is fantastically appointed and provides for the needs of those renting well - I MEAN IT. The upstairs kitchen is the best I have experienced in a rental home when traveling with a group. Everything was clean and organized, with plenty of blankets, pillows, and towels. The home was even designed well for effortless hosting. The owner allowed us to use our own boat at the dock on the property and had firewood and kayaks available. Checkin and checkout were a breeze without overly complicated cleaning instructions.

A beautiful home for a lovely vacation

We enjoyed this lovely home for a vacation with our 3 daughters, their husbands, and our six grandchildren. John, the owner, was fantastic to work with. He is very available at all times, and he answered texts within minutes! The house was perfect for our family. All bedrooms were clean and beautiful, especially the master bedroom. Every amenity needed was provided; all we had to do was go to the very nearby grocery store and get our provisions for the week! We also took advantage of having the pontoon boat available to rent, and we contracted to have it on two days of stay. For our grandchildren, this was the absolute most fun they had the entire vacation. We were so happy to have provided them with the happy memories! The pier and the covered sitting area at the end of it were also a big hit. The water there is nice and shallow, so the little ones could wade and swim in the warm lake water which they loved, and the adults were able to easily oversee them from above. Unfortunately, a family emergency necessitated my husband and I leaving after just two nights, but our kids and grandkids stayed and had a wonderful time! Thank you, John, for being such a gracious and understanding and helpful host. We hope to return for a full week next time!

The house was beautifully decorated inside for the holiday which made it feel like home ! Would highly recommend and will be coming back in the summer to take full advantage of the water .
