Lovely hotel

Eclectic hotel well located just a short walk from the main square. Our room was very comfortable and had a luxurious bathroom. No closet (but we didn’t need one).

A very unique hotel and room but I enjoyed it - I was comfortable and the service was friendly. The breakfast was light by big hotel standards but coffee, bread and other fare were good! Like many other hotels the room is for sleeping not for lounging but the common areas are very inviting.

Very special hotel dedicated in a steampunkish hommage to Rimbaud, with very original rooms. We werent aware of that when we booked and to us as a family it was a bit of a surprise and we would have appriciated closeable doors to the bathroom for example. But the rooms are what they are and the staff is very kind. Breakfast was good. Had dinner at the restaurant which was super good.

The hotel location was perfect! Just a few minutes walk from all the events at the center of town. The room was spotless, the bedding very comfortable and great quality. The staff was very friendly and helpful but they were so short staffed they were unable to hold our luggage until the afternoon on our departure day ( because they would need to close the hotel for a few hours). There was no other luggage storage option in town so we had to walk around with our luggage for 3 hours ( until our train departure time). For a 4 star hotel, that was not great…

Small room with no window, a/c didn’t work staff was unconcerned when notified. I would not recommend this hotel. We checked out a day early and forfeited our money it was so bad. It is not worth a 1/4 star rating!!!!

Horrible place, rude staff, small room with no windows, broken a/c. Would not move us to another room. Uncaring staff when notified of the situation. We left early and forfeited our money paid it was so bad. When a/c did get fixed second day, condensation dripped on floor next bed. Horrible place!!!!

Checked in at 2:30, do not disturb sign on door. Staff said they would SMS the dinner menu and to bring the breakfast order down by 9 pm. 3 hours after lying down, they called my do not disturb room and woke me up. I was upset and went to the front desk to complain. Staff repeatedly claimed I had “numerous” disrespectful communication with staff and guests. I interacted with staff one time and never spoke to guests. Guests were outside my room at 8 am talking loudly, waking me 2 hours after I finally fell asleep. When I showered, I noticed dirty handprints on the shower tile. I stepped out of the shower onto a towel and used my clean the water off the floor. The towels were filthy after wiping up the water because the floors were not clean. There were dirty fingerprints on the TV, potato chips under the edge of the bed. I contacted management who said I used shoes on the towels. The photos clearly show bare feet, which were my freshly washed feet stepping onto the towel to mop up water. When the hotel received my complaint, they repeatedly claimed I had “numerous” interactions with staff and guests and accused me of defamation when I said the room was not COVID clean as advertised. I sent the photographs to Expedia. Expedia sent 3 SMS to the exact same number the hotel claimed was invalid (as their excuse for calling a do not disturb room)

Bon hôtel pour séjourner à Charleville. La climatisation était appréciable en été. Bonne connexion Wi-Fi, cafetière dans la chambre reaprovisionnée tous les jours en capsules. Bien situé à proximité de la gare et du centre ville, néanmoins parking limité dans les environs immédiats (rue à sens unique sans place tout du long).

Séjour décevant dans un hôtel pourtant classé 4 étoiles. À mon arrivée, la chambre était glaciale car la fenêtre avait été laissée grande ouverte alors qu’il faisait très froid dehors. Ensuite, impossible d’allumer les lumières sans une télécommande défectueuse, nécessitant deux allers-retours à l’accueil pour résoudre le problème. Je n’ai rien signalé sur le moment, car des imprévus peuvent arriver. En revanche, ce qui m’a réellement déçue est la gestion de ma demande de factures. Après avoir réglé mon séjour et demandé deux factures papier, on m’a assuré qu’elles seraient prêtes le lendemain au petit-déjeuner. Une seule était disponible. J’ai précisé que la seconde était importante, mais la demande a été refusée sur place. Malgré un appel le soir même, n’ayant toujours rien reçu par mail, on m’a expliqué que l’impression n’avait pas été faite car “le ménage des chambres était plus important”. Je trouve cette réponse peu professionnelle et peu adaptée au standing attendu d’un hôtel 4 étoiles. Les petits incidents peuvent arriver, mais la manière dont ils sont gérés fait toute la différence.
