Welcome to the Signature Residence, a fully detached luxury home tucked inside Smalls Alley, a private enclave of standalone residences hidden just off the main streets of downtown Charleston. Steps from the city's best restaurants and historic streets, yet the moment you turn off the road, everything goes quiet.

Please note: the Signature Residences are two side by side homes. Your booking is for one of the two. Both homes are identical in layout, size, and features (4 bedrooms, 3.5 baths, sleeps 8, equal sqft, 2 off-street parking spaces). Decor accents vary slightly between the two. Photos may show either home. We assign your home before arrival and you are welcome to request a specific residence, though we cannot guarantee it.

The Signature Residence offers what no hotel room can: three levels of living space, a full chef's kitchen, four bedrooms, and a private rooftop deck, all backed by an on-property team delivering boutique service.

THE HOME
Fully detached with an abundance of windows on all four walls and pitched ceilings on the top floor, the home fills with natural light from sunrise to sunset.

THE LIVING LEVEL
The living room gathers eight around a 55 inch 4K HDTV, the dining banquette seats six with four more at the kitchen bar, and the full chef's kitchen features a dedicated coffee bar for slow Charleston mornings. A half bath off the living area means you never share your own bathroom during your stay.

THE BEDROOMS
Three king bedrooms, each with a private ensuite bathroom and 4K TV, plus a cozy kids' room with two child-size twin cot beds made for the youngest travelers in your group. Every bed is the kind of luxury mattress you wish you had at home, dressed in supremely soft 100% cotton bedding, and plush 100% cotton towels wait in every bathroom.

THE MASTER SUITE RETREAT
The entire third floor is yours: king bed, ensuite, private workspace, kitchenette and full laundry. Our homes sit higher than the homes around them, so your private rooftop deck rises above it all with sweeping views of the historic architecture people come to Charleston to see.

THE LOCATION
Smalls Alley sits in Cannonborough Elliotborough, the neighborhood Charleston locals actually eat in. Bareo, an intimate restaurant led by James Beard Award finalists, sits at the entrance to the alley, and Chubby Fish, Vern's, Malagon, Xiao Bao Biscuit, Babas on Cannon, Sugar Bakeshop and Holey City Bagels are all within a five minute walk. Upper King Street's shopping and nightlife is about ten minutes on foot, with the historic district, City Market and Rainbow Row an easy stroll beyond. Park the car once and walk to everything.

GOOD TO KNOW
Two identical Signature Residences sit side by side in the alley; decor accents such as backsplash and couch color vary slightly between the two homes. We keep the alley serene on purpose: quiet hours are 10 PM to 8 AM and never more than two guests per bedroom.
