Guest Access: The entrance to the suite is through the courtyard. Suite A is on the ground level. Access is provided with a unique key code.
The Neighborhood: This home is in the most vibrant and walkable area in Charleston. It is one block from Upper King Street, where the city's most famous restaurants are just a step away. Nightlife begins literally around the corner. Convenient to all tourist attractions. This home is tucked away with a private entrance and courtyard in an extremely safe area.
Getting Around: Easily walk to the restaurants, nightlife, and shopping of Upper King St and the surrounding neighborhoods.
Uber or Lyft around town or to the airport.
DASH is a free shuttle service that allows riders to explore the peninsula. Two of the routes have stops just around the corner. Visit the DASH website for a route map and more information.
Other Things to Note: Please note that there will be construction at our neighboring property. While we expect quiet hours to be upheld, there may be some construction noise during daytime hours.
This Suite is on the ground floor of a 3 story home. While the unit is very private, the courtyard is shared with other guests.
There are excessive noise monitors on the property - please respect your fellow guests and the 11pm city mandated noise curfew.
For security purposes only, there are two outdoor cameras that monitor the patio and brick alley.
This is not an event space. No parties or events are allowed on the premises. No unregistered guests allowed.
One complimentary parking space is provided at an off site parking lot located on the same block as the home.
Date Alterations - We will do our best to honor date change requests for your reservation with at least 60 days notice before check-in, subject to availability. We do not alter reservation dates within 60 days of check-in, with the exception of adding available nights onto your current reservation. Any other date change requests within 60 days of check-in will be treated as a cancellation and are subject to our cancellation policy.
Travel Insurance - We highly recommend travel insurance to protect your trip from unforeseen travel disruptions.

They had everything! Plenty of towels, coffee maker, coffee, sound machines every room, soap for washing machine, spraynwash, hand soap, dishwasher soap, paper towels, nice courtyard, comfy beds, nice showers, big tv…excellent communications! Stay was very enjoyable!!

We recently stayed at The Palms and had a truly wonderful experience. The property was just perfect-not only ideally located for exploring historic/downtown Charleston, but College of Charleston. The neighborhood is fantastic-truly eclectic with so many great coffee shops, restaurants and great places to walk. Tom and Hannah were the ideal hosts and so responsive to and questions and provided great recommendations all throughout our stay. Highly recommend The Palms!

Wife and three kids (ages 11 - 17) visited for a four day trip. North King St with shops and restaurants are two blocks away. Other sights and areas of King St. are an easy 5-10 min drive.
The owners reached out quickly to answer any questions and their instructions were helpful and made the trip a breeze.

We had a great stay at The Palms. The location was the best and we could walk everywhere. The Palms was spacious, nicely decorated and had everything we could possibly need for a great stay. The outdoor area was beautiful. We stayed with our two teenage sons and their grandparents and we all had plenty of room. Our oldest son plans on going to the College of Charleston next year so hopefully we can stay here many more times when we visit.

This unit is very nice! I would highly recommend staying here and would stay here again. It was up to date, very clean, comfortable and decorated nicely. The outdoor porch was beautiful and the common area was great! Parking was super easy. Great location to shopping, night life and restaurants. We walked everywhere and enjoyed the city!

My friend and I brought our daughters for a college visit at the College of Charleston. This was a perfect place for us to stay for our party of four and we loved having to r outside space as we had awesome weather! The location was amazing as we were able to walk everywhere and greatly appreciated the convenient parking space to home base our car. The room set up was perfect for us and while we ate out for all of our meals, the kitchen is equipped if we wanted to dine in. We will definitely stay here again when we come back!

We enjoyed our stay at the Hidden Oasis. It was a great location; close to everything. The house was very comfortable. It was especially nice meeting the other guests, sharing a bottle of wine. The host shares all information ahead of time that makes check in very easy. Everything needed was supplied. I highly recommend this rental.

We love Charleston, and we have been visiting for years. This time, we were joined by extended family on their spring break, combined with a college visit for my niece. This rental was perfect for us! Knowing it would not be beach weather, we decided to stay in town. The first thing we noticed was that the unit was exceptionally clean. The outdoor area was lovely and comfortable. Everything about the unit was comfortable and beautifully decorated. The location was great and walkable to everything we wanted to do. The owners were accessible, and they provided great resources for the area. Highly recommend!

Everything was wonderful! Perfect location! We loved the little touches like sound machines in all bedrooms, the record player, uno and other games, etc. My husband, myself, my 22 year old son and 12 year old son fit perfectly and absolutely loved it! The outside patio. Area was amazing and my boys enjoyed playing Cornhole! The kitchen was perfect for me to make a little Thanksgiving dinner in and all dishes were great quality! We had a little mishap with the fire alarm and they responded immediately and got everything taken care of right away! Overall, great property! We were all so sad to leave. Would highly recommend staying here :)

Family of 5 adults, first time to Charleston. The home was exactly as described and as the photos showed. Perfect size for us. Small touches were so nice—toiletries to start plus plenty of paper goods. Especially enjoyed the complimentary coffee! Had a small hiccup and the hosts were extremely responsive:) Loved the outdoor area and the porch! Can’t wait to return and would definitely rent this unit again!

We’ve traveled a lot and stayed in VRBO properties around the world. This unit easily rates among the very best. There was some late noise, but guess that’s what comes with such a convenient location. We had our own sound machines but each room also had one in the drawer, so that mostly solved the issue. Lovely finishes, comfortable beds, excellent outdoor space, lots of restaurants and bars in easy walking distance….what more could one hope for? Terrific choice for us!

From the moment I booked through to the end of my stay every detail was amazing! The owners of this property thought of everything…from the coffee, creamer, sweetener and basic spices such as Olive oil, garlic, salt and pepper…I honestly felt a bit of relief on my arrival not having to go get the basics just for a cup of coffee. I travel for work 4-5 days a week and usually stay with Marriott or Hilton. I only VRBO when family travel with me but decided to give this a shot due to high hotel rates. WOW so amazed with this place! Every detail was attended to. I can only say that if you miss a chance to stay in this property…YOU MISSED OUT! It’s close to everything….seriously a 5 minute walk to King Street with numerous shops and restaurants. The courtyard dedicated to just this house was amazing! Loved the front porch sitting and especially loved the fountain while sitting in the swing. I will definitely return and can’t wait to sleep in those AMAZING BEDS AGAIN!!! Well done!!
