The main reason is the service. From the welcome champagne, to the bottle in my room, to the breakfast hung our doors each morning and ice and macrons delivered at nite...its just a great stay. When you add the art work, rooftop bar and great staff that meet your every wish (along with another glass of champagne), I will try to stay here each time I return. Location is ideal for walking to restaurants and sites. We love the pretty courtyard and hot tub. Staff is very friendly. We were disappointed that they charge a fee ($35?) for early check in. If the room is ready, it costs you nothing to let us in early but creates a negative vibe to charge a fee (which we chose not to do)."
