"We very much enjoyed our getaway at this fishing cabin, with its rustic charm and beautiful views. Whether you plan to fish or are just relaxing and listening to the river you cant help but feel completely unplugged from the chaos of every day life. My husband and I spent two nights here celebrating our anniversary. The hot tub was just wonderful. We had a evening at the fire pit and then on the day it rained “all day long” we took a “wet” walk at a nearby state park and later just enjoyed playing board games and sipping wine back at the cabin. The host was very good at communicating and even left us a nice homemade welcome gift. I would love to come here again in the warmer weather."

"We stayed there with a group of kids for a wrestling tournament. We had 12 people, and we all stayed comfortably. Wish we had booked extra time to enjoy the place, with foosball, ping pong and a fire pit. Beautiful location, and a great neighborhood to do some jogging in the morning. "

"Great location and lots of activities on the property. We really enjoyed the dock, fishing, and sitting around the fire. Clean, comfortable, and communication with the host was top notch. Would definitely consider staying again if we decide to revisit the area."

"CLOSED for the season. They did not charge off season rates. The resort was completely empty. We were the only ones there. The restaurant was closed also. We are new to the area and were not informed the resort was closed. Also, there was a large, dead bug hanging from the corner on a cobweb. When we used the shower, a large red glob of something nasty came out of the soap dispenser. Soapless showers not fun. I contacted property to address my concerns privately, but did not receive a response, so, clearly they are not interested in fixing things."

"Beautiful location on the river, view from the hot tub, great fire pit area. The cabin took a long time to heat up after we arrived but it is an old log cabin so that is expected. Host was very responsive."

"We stayed here while taking our boat out on Lake Mayfield. It was clean, cozy, and quiet - just what we needed! You can hear the river from the property, as well as frogs and crickets at night. We would definitely stay here again. "
