You may not see other foreigners residing. Guests are mainly Overseas Chinese. The abundant breakfast, all self-prepared by the kitchen crew, is local with the elements of fruits and salads, toast and egg and allows an unabridged discovery of Chinese breakfast culture. What makes service so outstanding: Evennif you are way too late for breakfast time, nobody sends you away. On the contrary, you shall be served by what still is available with a welcoming smile and comment. You may even enjoy a pleasent conversation. The similar applies to the swimming pool, even if its just 10 minutes and the crew is about to clean and close, you will be welcomed to draw some rounds. The front desk lady was nice checking us in, but I was not happy with the hotel environment itself. We were given a non-smoking floor, however I was still able to smell smoke in my room and I saw cigarettes by the elevator. What’s the point of a non-smoking floor if it’s not being enforced and people smoke anyways? I heard wind howls all night which is crazy to me because I’ve never stayed at a hotel where I’m able to hear wind blowing every 5 seconds. Booked for 4 nights but ended up checking out after one night and booked a different hotel.
