However, there is a metro very close by, and airport is about 30-45 minutes away. It is difficult to get food after breakfast, which is quite good. The restaurant does not appear to be functional for dinner, and one had to purchase a very mediocre food at a bistro. Staff speaks English and is very helpful. During our stay we had an opportunity to visit a Cirque de Soleil performance, which was held in a giant tent only a 10 minute walk from the hotel. The performers stayed at our hotel. I tried to order lunch (a simple bowl of noodles) but they said it would take about 40 minutes. When I went down to the dining room, my meal was still not ready. After waiting one hour, the staff said it would take more time to prepare my noodles. The staff was friendly and the room was clean, but... ... beside a nice white marble bathroom, the hotel room had a very average appearance. ... the breakfast buffet had many choices, but no fine ones. For smoked salmon we had to beg the waiter to give us some (got a few slices then), cheese was only on the first day a very little bit, the other days not available, fruits also poor choices. The breakfast was so far OK, but not what you expect for a Shangri-La hotel or 5 star in general. ... taxis were not available on spot.
