The Champions Retreat 9 bedroom vacation rental home on ChampionsGate is an upscale, high end vacation home with an extensive specification and beautiful, but practical furnishings. All bedrooms are equipped with ultra comfortable memory foam mattresses, a large screen LCD TV and custom décor creating a unique theme for each room. The home has beds for 30 + 2 optional cribs (32 in total). Pool & Spa heat included.

When you arrive at the Champions Retreat, you will experience a real sense of something special. The exterior features a decorative driveway and walkway pavers, a brick facade and a tiled roof. The interior of the home is professionally decorated and includes a full HD living room 70” smart TV with added premium channels, along with 32" TV's in each of the 9 bedrooms and a further 60” TV in the loft area. There are also Blu-Ray players and high speed internet connectivity for streaming.

There are 6 bedrooms with king beds, 1 with twins, 1 with two queens and 1 further bedroom with 4 twin/full bunk beds – comfortably sleeping up to 30 people. The kitchen has upgraded tile and dark wood cabinetry, along with granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances. Your guests can choose to dine at the kitchen bar (that seats 5), at the fabulous large dining room table (that seats 12) or around the outside patio tables (that seat 14).

Outside around the block paver deck area are several lounge chairs surrounding the sparkling heated pool and hot tub. The pool faces west, which ensures plenty of sun exposure throughout the day with the full width lanai providing a shady retreat from the sun when required. A full width child safety fence is installed in front of the pool and the whole outside area is under an accessible full width pool screen enclosure. A flat top griddle style grill is optional (additional cost option).

Also available are strollers, high chairs & Pack and Play cribs for the very young ones (optional, additional charges apply). The game room is equipped with a very high quality slate pool table and hockey table, the vibrant & colorful décor depicting American motoring icons, comic heroes and movie stars.

The home is also equipped with unlimited high speed Wi-Fi, Bluetooth music hookup and unlimited long distance calls. The super energy efficient home design ensures your total comfort no matter how warm the Florida sunshine becomes. Dual zone Air Conditioning (A/C) ensures a stable temperature at all times.

At the Champions Retreat, you can enjoy all the amenities of the Oasis Clubhouse & Water Park – included within your stay (Fitness Center, Tiki Bar, Cabanas, Tennis, Resort-Style Pools, Family Pool, Lazy River, Water Slides, Swim-Up Bar, Water Falls, Beach Entry, Theater). This is possibly the best on resort leisure facility in Central Florida.

Above and Beyond!!

This property was absolutely amazing and the property manager went so far above and beyond to make our stay perfect. He was so friendly and the communication was excellent. I was able to reach him anytime I had a question both before and during our stay. I travel to Orlando frequently, and will definetly be back.

Great house for large families

The house accommodated our family's needs very well. If space is what you need, then, this is the right house for you. The kitchen had the right amount of pantry room and cooking space; the living room and dining room allowed us to eat, watch tv, and play games as a family. The patio was large enough for us to hang out around the pool while the kids swam. We especially loved the room with the 4 double beds and twin bunks; it's just right for a large family or a place for the kids to have their own room. We enjoyed the amenities of the clubhouse as well. If we were to continue our family tradition of renting vacation homes, we'd definitely rent from here again. Any questions or concerns we had were answered within 24 hours by Andrew. Location is great.

The house accommodated everyone. Very spacious! The only thing con was it was kinda hot upstairs and we couldn’t get the dryer to work . Other then that we definitely will be staying at championship gate anytime we come to Orlando !

Winter stay at champions gate

Few minor problems with pool hot tub heat, refrigerator leaked water and found cockroaches upstairs. We did have a good time but I hope problems will be fixed for future guests

All 18 family members fit comfortably

My family and I loved this house. There were 18 of us and we all fit great. We had enough room to all be together in one room but still had space if we wanted to be alone. Some family members did wish there were updated linens (they were clean but a little worn). We loved the pool and hot tub. There were plenty of stores around for groceries and food, and there is plenty to do for entertainment. The owner was great and always available. My family and I are considering returning for another stay!

Lots of room!

Spacious home with lots of room to spread out. Andrew the property manager is fantastic in that if you inquire about an issue or have a question he responds quickly. The property is clean and as described in the listing. The only drawback would be the towels provided are small and thin. A property of this caliber should have nice fluffy bath towels! The pool is great as the kids spent most waking hours in it. All in all a great home and would definitely recommend.

Perfectly presented property!

This was undoubtedly the best presentation of any vacation home we have rented, and we have rented many. The home was utterly immaculate. Additionally, the arrangement of bedrooms and bathrooms worked brilliantly for us all, and the kids (young and old) loved the game room. The quality of the beds ensured a great night's sleep, so important after long day walking endlessly around theme parks with eager and gleeful children. It was also very nice to have big screen high quality TVs to enjoy movies on. Well equipped and well presented, with a great club with huge pools nearby, you'll love this home for your family as well. Minor cons: Parking is very limited. Only enough room for four cars at the most.

Nice property, Strict rules

This property is in a great location, and is well maintained and spacious. It was very comfortable for 20 adults. The reason I rated this as only 2 stars is the strict rules. You are not allowed to move any furniture or you will lose your security deposit. This was disappointing because we had 20 adults that wanted to sit together and were unable to do this. In addition, the amount of work that needed to be done before checkout was a lot. You have to have every dish washed and put away, all trash taken out, and all towels washed. This is challenging with an early check out time. Also, we didn’t have a fully operational hot tub for half of our stay. There were workers in and out and finally had it fixed. I appreciate them getting it fixed but it was unfortunate to not have that working for the first half. In addition, we lost some of our security deposit due to some discolored towels. I travel frequently and use vrbo all of the time. I was pretty disappointed in the way this property was managed.

Our stay

Overall we had a good time. Just a few issues. The dishwasher was broken, when they came to repair it they couldn’t and would need to replace it. The date of replacement would be the day we checked out! With 30 guests washing and cleaning dishes by hand took a lot of time. We ordered a grill for our stay. When we finally were ready to eat we noticed the grill was no where to be found. So we cooked inside. The grill never came and when I reached out they responded quickly saying it will be there the next day. We got it in the late afternoon the next day. The washer took over an hour to do a load and the dryer took hours to dry a load. The pool filter barely worked. I noticed on day 3 the water was cloudy and didn’t let anyone use it anymore. The kids were so bummed. Then the last day out of the 30 guests, 24 left very sick. Throwing up and diarrhea. Later throughout the day every single one of us were sick. It ended awfully!! I believe the house made us all sick. Couldn’t have been the food like we all thought because some people who were sick didn’t eat what we all ate. The common denominator was the house and pool. I will say that check out was really good because the owner let us recoup for a few hours since we were so sick. Most of us couldn’t even begin to drive that morning of check out.

Traveling Family

This was my third time traveling to the resort homes. The champions gate homes are very nice, spacious and decorated nicely. Upon arrival the landscaping is very noticeable, excellent scenery, however, as we arrived at our destination, there was trash scattered abroad on the lawn. I chose to remove the debris on my own. Going into the home was just as was seen on the internet. Despite all the good visually, the home had its hidden flaws in which I tried calling the service desk to report the issues but I was never able to reach anyone. There was next door neighbor noise and chaos beginning 4:30 in the morning with no regards to the neighbors. I tried calling the help desk but again, no help. The refrigerator had the worst fishy odor upon arrival that lasted out entire trip despite our cleaning efforts. There were other issues which warranted our attention and the need for immediate feedback. Despite those issues, I would return again. We had a blast regardless of the issues. I suggest this home, just be very careful to report your initial findings to someone verbally. Don't let it go with a voice mail. My vacation was excellent. The oasis club was just unbelievable. I didn't want to leave.

Space and privacy were a plus, but the home owner was nonresponsive and unaccommodating.

Family and friends gathered together to travel to Orlando to enjoy the camaraderie of being together. Renting a spacious 10 bedroom house with a private pool seemed to be the best choice for our vacation needs. Prior to arriving at the house we shopped for food, which is all that we thought we would need based on the assumption that the house would be stocked like other resort homes where we stayed in the past. While unpacking groceries we discovered that the house did not have essentials like paper towels or toilet paper. We had to retrieve these items during another grocery store run. One of the guests needed a stroller and opted to not bring one, because the owner listed baby strollers as an amenity. The stroller wheels kept jamming, and the umbrella portion did not provide shade for the child. We also chose not to purchase a cooler, because it was listed as another amenity provided by the owner. When we took the cooler to the park the handle jammed, and could not be pushed. As a result the amusement park would not allow us to bring the bring the cooler in due to the faulty handle. Other amenities included if you wanted use of the barbeque grill an additional $100 fee was required. The owner charged a hefty cleaning fee and required us to provide an additional tip. However, there were no times given for trash pick up so trash piled for 2 or 3 days at a time both inside and outside of the home, and we had to provide the trash bags. We were also required to wash and dry all towels before a 10 am check out, which was challenging for a house with up to 15 guests. We also contacted the owner to notify him of a faulty piece of furniture. The owner never responded until after we left the grounds, accused us of the damage and held on to our deposit, despite the fact that the damage did not require the entire deposit fee. Overall, the accommodations provided by the owner were inconvenient, unwelcoming and uncomfortable. If we ever choose to rent another home it will definitely not be through this owner. This particular owner seemed to put things in place to nickle and dime guests for logistics that were unrealistic and impractical to fulfill. Note to the Owner: When you vacation the goal isn't to accommodate the place of occupancy. It is the guests who should be accommodated.

Spring break family golf trip

This was by far the nicest place I’ve stayed in Champions Gate. The house was perfect for our group and we enjoyed every part of our stay. Andrew was great to work with and so quickly responsive to any question we had. The only thing we wished we had were kitchen towels and a baking sheet.
