Location was in a peaceful area about a mile to town. We rented bikes and used them as our main mode of transportating and went in and out of town everyday. The booking process was flawless and mountain base property, which took over after booking through vrbo was attentive and communicated everything in a timely manner. We were a group of five (all family) from ages 35 to 70 and this property could not have been more perfect! Everything was wonderful. Spotlessly clean and with all facilities you could possibly want. The hot tub was luxurious and the views from the deck and first floor terrace were breathtaking! The location was excellent - a 15 minute walk into the town, 20 minutes walk to Les Praz and the lift there and beautiful hikes (though beware Index lift to Lac Blanc trail - not as easy as it may look from maps!). What a special holiday though for a 40th and 70th bday! Grocery delivery to the chalet on our arrival was brilliant and very helpful. Thank you so much to the amazing Mountain Base team who answered all of our questions by email so quickly, met us at the property for check in with no problems at all and were generally on-hand for our every need.
