Built like a typical Alpine house, this studio apartment on the ground floor for 4 guests benefits greatly from its location in the picturesque Argentière.
It is a lovely apartment with wooden interiors and overlooking the splendid mountain ranges. It is divided into a living area with a double sofa bed and a wall-mounted TV, an open kitchen-diner and a mezzanine level where guests can sleep. The dining table is set right next to the entrance. Guests can dine while enjoying the outdoor view and sunshine during the day. The modern kitchen beside the table is equipped with a Nespresso coffee machine, a microwave, an induction hob, a toaster, an electric kettle and a fridge for easy preparations of homemade meals.
Outside, there is a well-maintained garden with a children’s play area that is shared by other residents of the building.

Location
The apartment in Argentière has a great location for a year-round stay. The beautiful village is the gateway to the Grands Montets with its tremendous on and off-piste possibilities. From the apartment, the slopes are only a few hundred meters away. There is also a possibility of enjoying winter sports for beginners, experts as well with families. There are ideal ski areas, ski kindergartens and ski schools in close proximity which can be a lot of fun for everyone. Besides skiing, guests can also enjoy snowboarding, mountaineering (Argentière is a popular mountaineering village in the French Alps), snowshoeing, sledding, cross-country skiing and more.
During the summer season, guests can undertake hiking, trekking, mountain biking, golfing (the nearest golf course is less than 6 kilometers) and horse-riding. The entire region looks very different during different times of the year and is worth experiencing. The apartment has a few sports rental shops nearby so guests need not worry about outfits and gears.
Beyond being an active holiday destination, the ski resort is also known for its share of historical monuments, scenic views and wellness and spa facilities.
From the apartment, the train station, restaurants, a supermarket and a medical center is only a few meters away. Guests can explore Chamonix town center and indulge in both local and international cuisine and shop for winter wear. The nearest airport is about 108 kilometers. Due to the unique topography, location, and weather conditions in the Mont Blanc Valley, internet connectivity may be unreliable.

A fuir dans l'état actuel de ce studio ...
Remerciements à l'agence Happy Rental Argentière pour leur accueil et leur amabilité. Il serait je pense tout à fait judicieux que l'agence visite par elle même et régulièrement les logements proposés. En effet, sur le site les photos ont du être prise au tout début de la vie de cette location et il semblerait qu'elle en soit au 3éme age ...Ce studio est lamentablement mal entrenu.En premier lieu les huisseries : Porte difficile à ouvrir et à fermer, gonflée et déformée du fait d'une absence totale de vernis ou de peinture.Baie vitrée idem, joints à refaire, simple vitrage vétuste donc condensation importante ...Isolation thermique lamentable ...Murs défraichis, voire même décrépis à certains endroits. Le couchage : mezzanine se retrouve être d'une hauteur sous plafond telle que même nos enfants s'y cogne la tête ... Il faut aller se coucher à quatre pattes ... Et le lever du matin un lumbago. Il est anormal de ne pas le préciser afin de choisir si cela peut convenir à l'age des locataires ...Salle de bain correcte, mais sans aération et aucun meuble ni étagère pour y poser ses affaires ... Toilettes mais non aérées ... Au bout de quelques temps, fuites de plafond nécessitant la pose de casseroles pour les gouttes d'eau ... INADMISSIBLE ... En bref : le sentiment de s'être fait avoir tant le standing de ce studio est très inférieur à ce qu'on est en droit d'attendre quand on paye le prix fort des locations à cet endroit en cette saison.
