Maison des Praz is a great place to explore Chamonix valley in summer or winter. \- New super fast Flegere ski lift is 3-min walk \- Constructed in 2016 and refurbished in 2021 \- Private parking \- Sunny terrace with Mont Blanc views \- Bars and shops 100m away \- Chamonix town walkable distance Built over two floors, the living area of Maison des Praz is an open plan, light and airy space with full-length windows offering views of the Mont Blanc massif from the dining room table. The modern and fully equipped kitchen has plenty of space to create meals in and the sofas by the French windows allow you to spend time chatting together or watching the large, flat screen TV. The French windows open out on the lawn and garden where there are chairs and tables in summer. The ground floor contains a family bedroom with a double bedroom and bunks and a shower room with a toilet and sink Bikes and skis are stored in the closed storage area inside the house. Spiral stairs lead up to the first floor where there are three bedrooms. Bedroom #1 is a double or a twin with a bathroom with shower and toilet. Bedroom # 2 is smaller and can be either a single or a double. Bedroom #3 has a double sofa bed that can be either left as a sofa and chill out room or made up as a double bedroom. The sunny terrace leads off this last bedroom and has garden furniture for you to enjoy the afternoon sunshine and views of Mont Blanc. This floor also has a full bathroom and a separate toilet and a washing and drying machine for clothes. The property is hidden away behind the Hotel Lanchers with three other private residences and has no through traffic. LINEN, TOWELS AND CLEANING Please note. The cost of your reservation includes one set of linen and towels for each person and cleaning when you leave. If you are staying longer than a week you may want to consider booking a change of linen and towels and even some mid-stay cleaning. Great for a bigger family or a group of friends. We didn’t miss anything during our visit. The walk to Chamonix, next to the river, was almost magical because of all the snow. We didn’t use the terrace but that must be a nice place in spring or summer. We recommend this house. We had 8 people and there was plenty of room. Everything was just like it was listed. We could see Mont Blanc from several places in the condo. The neighborhood was great - there was a wonderful small grocery store right down the street and a bar across the street. It was in a quiet part of Chamonix which was nice. The property is well maintained, spacious and clean. The kitchen was well equipped and for us as a family, the downstairs open space worked very well. Location was tranquil and we could walk to the ski lifts and the bus stop. It's located in the little Praz village which was very cute. Highlights included the Epicerie with freshly baked organic bread, local ski shop was good and staff friendly and the after ski bar/cafe next to it great! Great and easy family stay!
