The apartment lies only 100m from the main street and 200m from the Le Savoy lift, yet, thanks to its position behind the church and the grounds around it that house the Guide’s office, it is as quiet a location as you will find this close to the heart of Chamonix. The apartment has a south and west-facing garden that faces up on to Mont Blanc. The sunny garden has comfortable chairs and a parasol for you to relax in and soak in the views. The apartment benefits from a garage and a ski locker and is consistently one of our most booked properties both in summer and winter. The apartment has two good sized bedrooms, both have two single beds which can be combined to make doubles. The lounge has two sofabeds. The apartment consists of: An open-plan living area with a dining table for six and a well equipped kitchen, and access to the garden. Bedroom #1 - A bedroom with two single beds that can be combined to make a 160cm wide double bed with access to the garden. Bedroom #2 - A bedroom with two single beds that can be combined to make a 140cm double bed. A bathroom with shower/bath, toilet and washing machine. The apartment has private and secure underground parking in a lockable garage and there is the St Michel public car park (payable) just opposite the building. Cependant la forme de l'accueil n'est pas agréable (personne à l'arrivée, trouver la clef dans une boîte), le ménage n'est pas très bien fait, des accessoires avaient des problèmes (Fuite WC, Poignée Machine à laver cassée, Parasol ne s'ouvre pas) et ceci n'a été revu qu'au bout de 3 jours. Appartement très bien situé en plein centre, donc où on peut tout faire à pied. Idéal pour participer aux courses du Marathon du Mont Blanc ou de l'UTMB, puisque à 1 minute du départ! La cuisine est très bien équipée. Le jardin est agréable et spacieux avec une vue magnifique! Très facile de charger et décharger la voiture devant la porte d'entrée, puis on la descend au garage. We also thought it offered us generous living space, especially for a holiday rental, and the private garden was a real bonus. It is only 100m from the main square and tourist office so access to town is really easy. Surprisingly it's not noisy though as you have enough distance between you and the high street so as to not hear any late night revellers. The garden is really handy as it us sunk behind a wall and hedge so no one looks in on you. We really appreciated the garage too as free parking is an issue in Chamonix. The management company were easy to deal with, the transaction was simple and the place spotless.
