We weren't expecting much given it only cost €64 for our room but the room was super and the hotel quite modern with an Indian restaurant onsite at the lower level.

The hotel is charming and in a lovely setting on the river. It feels like they have recently updated the rooms and bathrooms but the carpets are horrendous. When you walk into the hallways the stains are so bad that I didn't want to stay there and was immediately worried about the rooms. The rooms were nice but with the same terrible carpet. FIrst impressions matter and it is a bad first impression.
The restaurant is wonderful, breakfast was great with views of the river. No elevator to the second floor but the staff helped with the bags.

"We stay at this hotel reasonably often when needing an overnight stay. It’s clean and comfortable with good secure parking. The staff are very helpful and friendly and speak excellent English which is a bonus."

"Great spot. Lovely clean, well maintained hotel with lovely grounds and right next to a river where you can take a long walk. Super accessible location and very quiet surroundings. Only slight downside was the breakfast which was very limited."
