Stayed here with my husband and 4 kids. Staff was very nice, room was clean and spacious enough for all of us. I had read previous reviews about highway noise but we did not hear the highway at all. Quiet convenient place to stay. Would definitely stay here again!
The property manager is super nice, the room is very clean. Could use some updating but for the price, it was just right! The towels were super nice, soft and thick, and the water pressure in the shower was great. Even thought it was right next to the interstate, I could hardly hear the road noise in the room.
Although there wasn't much curb appeal the woman who runs the place was super nice and friendly. Room was BIG and CLEAN!!!! It was pretty inexpensive when it comes to motel rooms but keep in mind it doesn't come with breakfast and the office has limited hours. That did not concern me. She was available by phone if necessary. Great place to rest your head for the night. No frills
Arrived at the site at 5:30PM. No one available. Sign on window said to call # for information. Had no cell service at location. Noted that someone had attempted to call me earlier from same area code but no message left. Went into the town hoping to get cell coverage but again nothing. It was a Sunday evening and everything closed. Thought I was going to have to sleep in my car for the night. Went back to the hotel so not to be disturbed by the police etc.
While there noted another couple entering a room. When the man walked back to his car approached him and asked him how he got a key. He stated someone had called him and he would find a key under the doormat. We checked and found a key under doormat to Rm 1. Since it was 9:00PM and no one else had claimed the room and I already had a charge on my CC for the room, I went and used the room. The room itself was fine.
Staff was very polite, but a little over-involved; we had someone knock on the door to ask us to move our car down 1 space in a lot that has no lines. Not really something worth bothering a guest for, especially in an empty lot (I believe the manager was just checking on us). We also seen this employee walk into an occupied room before check out time (she apologized to the guests of course). Room was decent; TV, fridge, and AC all worked great. 10Am check out and 4pm check in is very odd. Overall we would stay again - just give guests a little more space.
