They are both hunters. I know this is not everyone's cup of tea, but a lot of people from that generation in rural France do like hunting, fishing, fetching mushrooms. There are woodlands all around the karting circuit. My dad and his friend have built some platforms in the trees, and from mid-October to mid-November they go there every morning to shoot migrating birds. Those ones are some sort of wood pigeons going from Eastern Europe / Russia to North Africa. I did my own shooting that morning... with my camera! We need constant (and often instant) access to the internet and believed from the advertisement that this would be the case. However, from the start there was no internet. Our hosts did their best to compensate but it wasn't quite the same. However, they were so generally friendly and helpful, and I believe that this problem will be resolved by the time the property is available for rent again, that I would not wish to make a song and dance about it and would like to thank them for a most enjoyable holiday in Chabanais. ##### Alan R.
