The Ridge Residence is an excellent hotel and I had a great comfortable stay. Please be aware this is not a beach front hotel, But is centrally located on the island of Mahe with easy access to explore the whole island and all the beaches. Close to Victoria, Eden Island and the Airport, which is good for Business travellers, and tourists alike. The hotel is close to local bus routes so you can easily travel into town and other locations on the island. The view from the hotel looks out towards...

Great stay

If you are looking for oasis of peace and quiet right in the jungle while enjoying modern room with pool, ocean view, garden and tasty breakfast- this is the right choice! We stayed 3 nights and loved it. The owner and the staff were pleasant. Definitely need a car !!! Its in the hills/I would say villa in the Jungle. Stunning place. It feel like home. You can relax in a quiet terrace away from world. We had room with pool/ocean view. Can’t recommend enough. Would come back definitely. Big...

Staff were amazing, communication was excellent, arranged pick up from airport and transfer to ferry. Lovely rooms with great views. Pool looked lovely no chance to try as had to leave early

very nice place , supermarket at the side bus stop nearly , very recomended

Self catering villa, very modern, spacious. It is located on the south end of Mahe which is quieter than Beauvallon. The Villa is on the hillside with great views of the bay, there are 6 properties, some are semidetached. This was the best accommodation we had during our stay. The owners are very helpful and the service is good with daily cleaning. The owners speak excellent English and communicate with you in advance of the holiday The beaches are easy to access by car only a short drive, you...

Lovely sea view apartments. All very new and modern. Very good outdoor shared area with sun loungers and canoes, paddle boards etc for free use. Only slight disappointment was that weather conditions meant that beach area immediately in front of the apartments was not accessible, though beach was only a 3 minute walk away.

Stayed for one night before flying out early. Jill was fabulous. She collected us from the ferry (for a fee) and dropped us at the airport early the next morning for free. This was so helpful as we had a lot of baggage. The house is up a very steep hill but without baggage it's walkable. We used the food shop at the bottom of the hill and walked back up fine. The house is spacious, very comfortable and has a lovely outdoor terrace. Kitchen is well equipped. As other guests have stated there are...

Nice location with an awesome view, huge villa for 2 people with good amenities, superb hospitality, and very close to some of the beaches. Although it’s situated very close to the sea, you have to walk like less than 5 minutes to access the beach, and like around 20 minutes to reach the closest beach hub, Beau Vallon. The hike to those places aren’t bad at all, very safe to walk at night but be careful with traffic, of course. Kenji was very helpful throughout my stay and helped me with a lot...

A lovely apartment with all the facilities that we needed for our stay. The Site Manager (Sam) was helpful, friendly and supportive throughout our visit. The apartment was a comfortable short 100m walk from the local beach and restaurants, shops etc. but was also very quiet and peaceful so the location ticked a loads of boxes too. We’re already thinking about our next visit.

We stayed for one night before our flight out coming from la digue, very close to the airport, clean, good ac, beautiful view from the balcony, the staff were helpful and nice, sorted our taxi as well.
