"Overall a good place to stay. Nice and close to the historic district, with bars and restaurants within easy walking distance. Hotel was elderly with a few rough edges, but fine. Staff were friendly, and the laundry service was good. Internet service, though, was not great - spotty coverage, low speeds, and there was a complete outage for a couple of hours one day. Also, for the technically minded, you cannot establish an outgoing VPN connection - for some reason it is blocked."

"Staff was very good when checked and dealing with matter, room was generally clean but is a typical older building. It is in an older neighborhood and felt insecurity at night but I like it being more community oriented. Building is very secure. Hotel all ran by guys but with good manner and services. Taxi driver said he has been servicing the hotel for more then 20 years. nearby restaurant serves local comida, and there are fruit stand every morning across the street and a local tienda is...
