"Brilliant hotel in the perfect location at a really reasonable price. The Baie des Citrons is Nouméa’s favourite playground day and night - a beautiful beach, sheltered from the wind, surrounded by cafes and restaurants, with stunning sunset views. The hotel is freshly renovated, friendly and has good double glazing so really peaceful. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit."

"I am not a fan of Hotels; I prefer a less formal and more naturel environment. This lodge was perfect for me. The hosts, Nicole and Richard, are lovely people and I shall never forget them. There is no radio or TV at the lodge, but they have Wi-fi, so I was able to access those services on the rare occasions that I felt inclined to do so. During the eight days that I spent there, I discovered how to relax, how to enjoy the simple pleasures and how to say, "Bonjour!" and truly mean it! I've been back in Australia now for six days and I feel homesick for New Caledonia, Noumea, the Lodge and my lovely hosts."
