Central Park Plaza Shopping Center

I have to say that I was a bit disappointed with this hotel. We arrived very early and had to pay $25 for early check in which I didn’t mind dine it was 9:00 am and it was sweltering outside. The front desk staff were very friendly & helpful. The location to all attractions was great 15-25 mins to Disney parks, sea world & universal parks. They have 12 tables by the pool and only 2 umbrellas, no floats for the lazy river. We were woken up at 4:00 am by other inebriated guest walking to their rooms yelling, taking loudly. The room was a little dated but clean. The restaurant was a little expensive for the food. We did not enjoy the breakfast. I guess overall I’d give it an 6 out of 10, for the price I guess I can’t really complain, but I will not be staying here again.

Upon entering our hotel room we were hit with what could only be described as a “mildew” like smell, one could assume that it was coming from the carpet. The carpet also didn’t feel as clean as well. During the first night, we saw a cockroach crawling along the tv stand, the icing on top of the cake. Not our favorite hotel experience if we’re being honest.

Extremely Disappointed – Subpar Cleanliness and Upkeep ​While the pool area was pleasant, the rest of the resort fell incredibly short of expectations, feeling more like a budget motel. The rooms are quite large, but the decor is sparse and dorm-like, and there was a noticeable musty odor throughout. ​We encountered several maintenance and cleanliness issues, including broken window blinds, dirty towels, and mold in the bathtub. Furthermore, the strong odor of marijuana in common areas and the stairs smelled like a NY subway. The online marketing is highly misleading compared to the actual condition of the property. Never again.
