"We had 2 weeks enjoyable weeks here, despite the rain, and appreciated the space , the fireplace, the washer and dryer( rare in Europe) and our host. A car is essential as the village has no amenities."

The only disappointing aspect was that only two of the five bedrooms had air conditioners and it was very warm during our July stay—room fans would have been helpful. "Very accessible, great house exactly what was in the pictures. Able to speak English, Spanish, or Portuguese and was very friendly and respectful. House rules are very understandable and location is very close to beach. Will come back again"

"Stayed at this property while in town for a work conference. The Congress Center is a close walk, which was perfect for us. You will need Uber, bus or trolley to get into Lisbon for a lot of sight seeing. The flat is laid out in genuine Portuguese style as our hosts explained. There was a lot of space. The garden is lovely. The hosts are delightful and full of great recommendations."

"Booked this villa for a big family holiday to celebrate a 40th birthday. Paulo made the booking process so easy with same day replies to all our questions leading up to the holiday, handy tips and being so accommodating to our requests even during our stay. The villa had something for everyone. With the heated pool, jacuzzi, games room and lovely local beaches - we had the best time! About 30/40 mins from Lisbon - super easy to book Ubers. "We stayed for two weeks. The vila exceeded our expectations. It was very well equipped in the kitchen. Lots of towels for the pool and bathrooms. The owner took care of any concerns promptly. The area is very quiet but with easy access by car to the beach, restaurants etc. Having English tv was a nice extra. Would definitely recommend for families or couples traveling together as there is lots of space to spread out."

"Very nice property if a little dated, limited air conditioning & showers over baths. Plenty of space, bedrooms were good size & layout was excellent. Pool & bbq areas are very good ‘ garden is nice. You need a car for the area … groceries a mile away, small local coffee shops in walking distance. Beach 2+ miles … is a real find, has plenty of character & is beautiful especially in evening time, has some decent shack like restaurants with lots of character, it’s a working beach where fishermen...
