"Lovely stay with family. Apartment was ideal and walking distance to centre."

"This stay was made very pleasant due to all the wonderful amenities this home offers to you! From you few basics is the kitchen to beach towels & toys. It truly is just about a 10 minute walk to the closest beach. The only draw back for us was the lack of communication on having to be met by the property manager to check in to fill out paperwork and give cash deposit with copy of passport. This was a draw back only cause it has never been done before in all the vacation homes rented before ….....

"The house is fantastic, the surroundings are very beautiful. The lagoon is a few minutes' walk away. The house could have more blankets and towels (2 large towels per person, currently there was only 1). The kitchen is very well equipped with dishes. "We stayed at this property over the US Thanksgiving holiday. The home was very nice. Very comfortable, had everything needed, and very convenient. It comes with a small driveway for a vehicle, and is only a 5 minute walk to the train or 10 minute walk to the metro. "One always hopes that the actual lives up to the pictures. This house exceeds that. Absolutely spectacular. The host could not have been nicer and accommodating. Helped us arrange a private chef come in and prepare a dinner. All I can say is it was worth the cost. Chef Frederico was incredible. The road in and out was a little challenging but that just added that much more charm. The ease of getting to different beaches and site seeing made the location perfect. We would definitely do it again....

"The location and setting was spectacular! Talk about eye candy!! It was fun watching the surf and the flow of visitors as well. We particularly enjoyed the restaurant Agua e Sal a very short walk from the house. Hosts had a small clay chorizo grill which we used to grill the black pig chorizo we found at the supermercado atlantica which was located just south of praia de maca. Delicious! "Great for small family with older kids/couples. We loved the location- very central and walkable. It is up a steep hill and there are stairs only. Kitchen is basic, everything worked. Beds and baths as described. We found it very agreeable, but were out and about most of the day. Host was very communicative and helpful. The city tax was a tricky thing- I would just offer to leave cash for it. The bank transfer thing was crazy. Overall, would recommend and would stay here again."
