Incredible Location
Perfect location for both peace and quiet near nature, but also beach access, Cape life, downtown proximity and nearby towns. The upper deck gives fantastic views too.

It was fine, great location.
Beautiful yard and perfect location! We really enjoyed the views and proximity to the beach. The property manager was fantastic. Easy to reach and very accomodating when we needed to change dates. She reached out to personally apologize for maintance issues. We appreciated the communication. The house was adequate and slightly run down, so if you have very high standards, this may not be for you.

Perfect Family Vacation
This was our second time staying at Maria's home and it was just as perfect as the first. Perfectly equipped for a family, gorgeous views, amazing yard. Craigville Beach is the quintessential Cape experience with clean sand, good snacks, and nice people. Already planning our trip back!

Family vacation
The proximity to Craigville Beach couldn't be beat and we probably would rent this property again. The property could use some maintenance. Painting, fixing walls in some rooms. The blinds in the downstairs bedroom need to be replaced; the morning sun streams in. There was no place to put soap, shampoo, etc. in the shower in the bathroom that’s attached to the downstairs bedroom. While there are plenty of bath towels, we made a trip to Target to get wash cloths. Overall it could just use some TLC. We had our grand dog with us and while she mostly just laid in the sun, we had to keep an eye on her because of the gaps under the fence in some spots. Not a big deal, but future renters should be made aware of this. I wouldn’t say it was dirty, just more run down.

With our close proximity to the saltwater at Craigville Beach, we are constantly involved in maintenance work during the off-season in preparation for our summertime guests: in 2020 we added outdoor lounge furniture in the backyard and on the 2nd floor back deck which produced two comfortable and lovely additional living spaces; in 2021we replaced out backyard fencing; and for 2022 we’ll be busy all winter giving our exterior a facelift with all new trim & doors, new awnings, and a brand new outdoor shed to store yard games, beach chairs & toys, et. al. Regular maintenance and continual updates are always in motion at our beach house. If you’ve enjoyed a stay with us in the past, be sure to visit again and experience the same great location with added comforts!

Location is fantastic
Pros: - Location is fantastic! Walking distance to the beach and close drive to everything! - The backyard space is awesome. Lots of room, nice view, and all fenced in! - Overall plenty of room within the house - Bay window overlooking back is a great feature! - WiFi worked great for the times we were in the house Cons - Downstairs shower is a bit complicated and the floor constantly was wet - even if no one showered yet. - Fridge doesn’t seal all the way so it would either freeze some things or leak water. - The house is definitely a little run down in areas - cabinets, very used couches, rusted toaster and coffee maker - Seemed liked it wasn’t cleaned 100% - saw some cobwebs with spiders, dust bunnies, etc. In the age of a pandemic - you’d hope it would feel a little cleaner. Other notes: - One reviewer said the grill was a pain. It did take a little to start up but worked just fine for us grilling steaks the first night. - The house is on a busy road but wasn’t the end of the world. Just want to point that out. Overall we had a good time at the Cape. Just some things were frustrating considering the price you’re paying per night.

UPDATE Summer 2022: Couches have been replaced with new; Grill has been replaced with new; Drip & Keurig coffee makers are newly replaced as well; 2022 Season = brand new & improved maid service with updated cleaning protocols. The location is great. The amenities are good. The house needs some work and the cleanliness was sub par. On entry i noticed plenty of dust bunnies in corners of rooms. Huge ones. Behind tables and couches. There was also a massive dog bone under a couch so a few things seemed to be missed cleanliness wise. The comforters smelled unclean and with Covid didn't seem safe to use. Most doors were terribly squeeky so I used WD-40 to help. At least 3 lights did not work. I had to replace a few light bulbs. The kitchen microwave lightbulb still needs replacing. Some of the windows are busted and dont open with the cranks. Most blinds in the house do not turn open, but it looks like there were blinds behind a couch so maybe those will be updated soln. The drawers could use a run through of utensils. There's a few busted utensils like half broken tongs that should be tossed. The grill is barely functional. Takes a lot of work to light (needs a lighter) and some burners dont catch fire easily (a deep clean may help, but the ignition button is busted). Theres a very old moldy hamper next to the outdoor shower. Upstairs to the second floor there was a weird smell, probably dog pee on the carpeted stairs. The entry rug just has a lot of pee stains and should probably be replaced. I think it'd be smart if the large couch in the den room attached to the kitchen pulled put as a bed. The current pull out couch in the entry room when used kind of blocks one of the bedrooms.

Perfect location!
The location for this house couldn’t have been better for a cape vacation! It was a very easy 2 min walk to the beach and was no problem even for my 3 young kids. The back yard is great and has privacy that overlooks the water. We also really enjoyed the ability to kayak right from the back yard onto the Centerville River.

Awesome family trip
We stayed here with our 2 adult kids and our dog for 2 weeks. It was extremely convenient location. Walk to the beach and to the clam shack for food and also a quick drive to Four Seas for ice cream. Hyannis is only 3-4 miles away. My son fished off the bridge many nights. The backyard was great for a cookout and relaxing. This place has everything you need for a fun Cape vacation. We’ll be back!

Maria is wonderful. Couldn't ask for a nicer or more responsive property owner. The house is adorable and very comfortable. The river in the back is absolutely beautiful and provides some fantastic bird watching. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would love to come back.

great beach house !
this is a lovely property a short 2 block walk from the beach, ice cream stand, and lunch place. the view from the back upper deck is spectacular. this house has real functioning air conditioning , (unlike some houses which advertise 'ac' and have only one weak window unit.) the kitchen is extremely well equipped for do-it-yourself meals. we loved our week here ! the only caution is : the fenced backyard has some holes, and our little dog managed to escape (but did not get very far...)

This was a beautiful home and perfect for our family vacation with 6 adults and 2 children. The walk to the beach was short and the beach was wonderful. The backyard is private and serene and the outdoor shower was the best yet! Maria responded promptly to all of my questions and was wonderful to work with. It was an excellent week! We’d love to go back next year!

My family and I loved this beach house with beautiful ocean and river scenic views. A beautiful picture window with window seating allows lots of light inside. Perfect location between the beach, town Country Store , 4Seas Ice cream and playground. This property has a lovely fenced in yard which is perfect for children to play in.

Maria Papa's home in Centerville is beautiful, comfortable,and relaxing. The back yard is gorgeous. The view of the of the water and kayaking in it was wonderful, my 4 year old grandson loved going with his dad. The weather didn't cooperate but we had a wonderful time. Thank you Mariah

Beautiful spot.
Very charming home, comfortable and roomy. Loved the upper deck wonderful bird watching. Great yard and 2 man kayak was a real bonus need to be mindful of the tide when planning kayaking otherwise not as pleasant.

Great home, in good condition and super location.
We enjoyed our stay at the home immensely. We were there Aug. 20-26, 2016 with 6 adults, 2 children and 2 dogs. The fenced yard was great for the dogs, although you did have to watch them, as the street is a busy one. The kitchen was amply stocked and we enjoyed it's openness to the dining area. The backyard was a delight, backing up to the river for bird watching. The six year old decided the bay window in the family room was a perfect spot to sleep, with her sleeping bag. She slept there the entire time! As you can see, we made use of every inch of space. The 5 minute walk to the beach was perfect, as we could come back for lunch or anything we forgot. There were plenty of pots, pans and dinnerware. We did go to Tugboats in Yarmouth, a 10 min. car ride, and found the food to be good and the sunset from the outside dining deck, awesome. We would certainly not hesitate to come back again.

Awesome Vacation Home
This is an absolutely awesome home and location to stay on the Cape for a wonderful relaxing vacation. I would highly recommend this house as a great place to call a vacation home. Plus everyone that passes by this home gives a thumbs up, great curbside appeal. The one recommendation that I would make is to leave a smaller fridge in place for beverages as the main fridge can be little small for a week worth of refrigerated goods.
