The cottage is on a larger property - the owner’s home is at the waters edge with a dock and the cottage sits back from their home. We had access to the dock and a play set and kayaks. The cottage was so well-designed, well-appointed for cooking, relaxing, with lots of amenities and nice outdoor landscaping and seating; a beautiful space to stay. John was an amazing host - very helpful and respectful of our space during our stay. Nice to be able to experience an area of the Island that was new to me even though I grew up here. The house is even better than the pictures and all the amenities for the kids are so much fun. Beautiful view of the water with gorgeous sunsets and sunrises. John was an amazing host with letting us borrow some things we forgot and when our kids wanted to make S’mores he came to the rescue and made them sticks.
