We were not given the room we booked through Expedia and were told that it was not advisable to book with third-party vendors. So, I said, “Okay, we also booked a room directly with Element, and we still didn’t get the room we booked.” The clerk responded that we were only staying for one night. It didn’t matter; we had paid for a room and should have received it. If not, she should had offered a discount rate."

"Pool and hot tub were broke I paid $200 for one night without access to the pool or bar area that has pool table none of this was compensated either. I think they should have gave us a partial refund. We came for the pool and they didn’t have one or offer any type of discount or refund. Sad because I went 5 years ago and it was much better."

"Shower head leaked all over and I had to fix it. No restaurants in the area worth talking about. Breakfast was terrible scrambled eggs, sausage that didn’t look like it or taste like it, food area is unsupervised which is why nobody knew there was a fire in the toaster, felt like I slept on a cloud the bed was so soft, and the cleaning staff doesn’t come everyday to give new towels and wash cloths unless you call and ask for them. "

The area is dying, with many stores and restaurants closed. I ended up ordering a salad at the hotel and ate in my room. I'd stay on the outskirts if I ever pass that way again. "
