This is a gem of a place--not just a room but a complete, cozy apartment with a comfortable, relaxed feel. It's separate from the main house with its own private entrance. There's a full kitchen with stove, refrigerator/freezer, and all appliances and utensils. There's also a large kitchen table and even a washer/dryer. The small living room has a comfortable couch and big-screen TV. The bedroom has a spacious king-sized bed. Each room has its own cooling unit. The bathroom is efficient and pristine, with a shower and plenty of towels provided. This place is on a quiet street near an upscale area with eateries and small stores. It's also walking distance to the Long Island Railroad station. The hosts were accommodating and even sent a pre-stay complete guide to the apartment and the neighborhood. They made my stay easy. I also appreciated the little extras, such as shampoo, conditioner, snacks, and ample amounts of bottled water. Everything was very clean, quiet, and comfortable, and even better than advertised.
