"My family had a different reason for seeking peace on our trip to the area. We were in town for a family funeral, and this little piece of heaven was exactly what we needed. The cabin was very welcoming, had what we needed, and had the peace that was very welcomed during this difficult time. We were close to events and family in Solon, but had a quiet, peaceful place to let down. The lake was a short walk from the property, with a convenient trail for walking, running, and enjoying nature."

"I loved having a real kitchen since I like to cook my own meals. There was a great field to walk my dog. Everything in the house was impeccable and our host offered snacks for both me and my pooch. There's no WiFi so it's best to do all your WiFi business before you come. It's near the Kalona Museum about the active Mennonite community nearby. Wish I'd had time to visit."

"This was just the right size for my family of four. (would work for 6 as well). Nicely redone. We will stay here again if in Cedar Rapids area. Owner is working on a fire pit out in back. Will be a nice addition when finished. It was centrally located to all the activities and shops we visited."
