It felt like we were in a treehouse looking out every window at the beautiful fall foliage! We spent a lot of time on the 3 sided deck and loved the rocking chairs! Home was incredibly clean and didn’t lack for anything! We hadn’t explored this part of WNC and are so glad we did. Owner was very accommodating with an extension of our stay. We needed a rental for my cousins Celebration of Life. We were grateful to find this great 3,2 witih a wrap around open deck. Nice outdoor fire pit. Easy in and o for our don too. So quiet and peaceful to just sit and relax. Outdoorsy and want activity? 10 minutes away from several locations. Not too far from "city life" and shopping. The house itself is extremely well appointed and comfortable. The fire pit and porch are wonderful for sitting out and enjoying the birds and other nature sounds. And the location is unbeatable, with an easy walk down to the Cedar Mountain Canteen (with regular live music), distillery, and cafe. And a short drive gets you to Dupont state forest with everything that has to offer, or to Whistlestop Market for fresh local produce, grocery staples, and other goodies. We enjoyed the wooded setting and did not hear or see any neighbors the entire time we were there. We visited the Cedar Mountain Cafe for a delicious breakfast and a quick dinner. The king sized bed was super comfy. The only negative was all three bedrooms are upstairs with only one bath up but we made it work. All the positives far outweighed that one negative. It is in a perfect location near DuPont and Caesars Head for hiking and mountain biking. It's a quick drive to Brevard and Hendersonville. Melinda was very responsive and helpful when we needed her. The house is very cozy and in a quiet location next to an charming outdoor church. The kitchen is fully equipt and there are lots of cozy towels and blanket and throws to snuggle up with.
