Located directly on the Gulf within a true nature preserve, the property is framed by swaying palms, warm Gulf breezes, and tranquil coastal scenery—an ideal setting to relax, reconnect, and unwind. Whether you’re planning a romantic getaway or a fun coastal vacation, Island Place provides an exceptional blend of comfort, charm, and location. The complex is thoughtfully designed to reflect the historic character of Cedar Key while offering modern conveniences. Guests are perfectly situated next to the city marina and just steps from local restaurants, shops, art galleries, and the grocery store—no car required. Pet Friendly: Pets are welcome with a $50 fee per pet, per visit (maximum one pet). All and all it was a good stay. I personnaly like staying on the outskirts of town. Due to the recent hurricane i was expecting the area to be worst than it actually was. The town really stepped up and took care of each other and got back on their feet. They did an OUTSTANDING job of getting the community back up and running.
